@@edgaralanpoe2808 A lot of it is due to the way the tournament is presented. Back then, I highly doubt he could've beaten Trubin, nowadays he cannot neat either Ermes or Chaffee.
Watching this again just makes you realize how good and strong Devon Larratt is at arm wrestling. Prudnik is a technical beast but he couldn’t do anything to Devon
@@Tatar_Piano prudnik also cheated against matt, todd and morozov by moving elbow, having set up at the start, its just that devon is the most technical armwrestler in the world
What Prudnyk did in first round, truly terrified me. His technique was such a precise counter-attack to Morozov's semi-"low hand toproll" that I feel he had exactly known what Morozov was going to do even before the match started. Prudnyk cupped in order to contain Morozov's hand but he did it so high on Morozov's hand that the rotation of Morozov's wrist didn't have any effect on Prudnyk's fingers, while the main point of using low hand toproll is attacking and opening the opponent's fingers from below. Prudnyck effectively rendered Morozov's technique useless simply by setting up high. That level of intelligence is terrifying... I want to see Prudnyk against Brzenk, the two most efficient arm wrestlers in the world.
Check his thumb also. He set it back in order to force the opponent fingers to go lower and he is gaining height the same time. He is a very intelligent puller in every aspect of armwrestling
@@jayclean5653 I've been dreaming of this match since 2013! I am so thankful to Engin for what he has been doing and is doing for the sport! Brzenk vs Prudnyk has the potential to be of highest technical quality possible! Two Grand-Masters going at it...
Prudnik destroys Brzenk, Prudnik is 115kg world champion and John lost to Ongarbaev who is 100kg world champion, Prudnik is levels above Brzenk and Ongarbaev
Prudnyk is crazy strong. He's one of the only people to every go inside with Hutchings and he pulled right through his arm. Seriously strong and technically sound. Can't wait to see him vs Larratt.
Prudnik was too fast for Hutchings (like the way Babayev smoked Hutchings 6:0)... Prudnik didn't even attempt to hook Hutchings once in the strap. Win is still a (dominated) win though, but it's not how the hook count. I said this based on the actual supermatch that happened between them, maybe Prudnik could, but the fact, he didn't in that match. One must slow hook Hutchings in the strap to prove superior in the hook. Flash pin him doesn't really count, those hits are just too fast to catch up with. Still Hutchings lost, no doubt.
One of the best 5 ever for me.. he got it all, lethal hook,he can toproll if he wants, his wrist is unbreakable, crazy endurance and always in good shape..
@@justnoah2164 You seem to be taking after pulls and practice pulls too seriously. Irakli stood no chance this season. An year or two down the line? Different story.
@@alexmashkin863 makes sense to westerners? I’m Ukrainian buddy. We are the most prideful and ego driven people on the planet lol. Stop the humble crap
Заведомо было понятно, что Женя победит. Но Морозов молодец, боролся до конца. Артем ещё очень молод, есть куда расти и набираться опыта, а Женя уже матёрый волк.
We want to see some must happen matches like Cyplenkov vs Ermes Cyplenkov vs Prudnik Ermes vs Prudnik Larratt vs Ermes Plz let it happen somehow please asap
Engin made a suggestion to Ermes, if he is willing to fight Prudnik in the 100kg supermatch. Unfortunately Ermes is now focused on gaining weight and adjusting to that weight to fight the strongest people in the top ranks. And Prudnik today made a post on instagram 😎 Prudnik challenged Ermes in a supermatch
Would it be better for them at like 110kg or 115kg where Prudnik currently in? At 100kg even Prudnik has to cut like 14-15kg (31-33lbs), and Ermes has to cut much more (34kg... ~75lbs). 115kg require less cut for both. They'd be certainly weaker at 100kg than 115 or 110.
I honestly wanna see prudnik vs ongarbaev rematch with 6 month preparation time at 105kg weight cap although prudnik would be favorite that match has a potential to go down in history as one of the best match ever
@@Kwangson12 Prudnik is already favorite so there should at least be weight cap also since prudnik has the title of 110 kg he should compete within 110 kg last time he was heavier than ongarbaev if there weight is similar ongarbaev might have a chance in hook otherwise it would be a clean swip from prudnik he'll just force ongarbaev in a hook and win easily
@@Kwangson12 maybe not 105 kg but since prudnik has 110kg titles weight cap should be 110 kg for it to be a title match and prudnik is 110 kg right now so no weight loss for him it a top roll match ongarbaev would definitely win but prudnik is smart he will not let ongarbaev top roll he will force a hook on him and pun him with ease
Prudnyk clearly won that match even if the injury hadn't have happened. Also, what was up with the audio at the end of the video? Did Engin walk away with his mic inside his pocket or something while they left the other mic (Coach Ray's mic) on quarter volume? Every big armwrestling event has to have some kind of audio meme moment. 🤣
Yeah. His arm was barely moving. He did to Morozov what Morozov did to Sporrong. And, Sporrong is quite strong in all of Northern Europe. To be 45 lb lighter and stop a buffalo like Morozov, Prudnik must be super-strong.
You got that wrong. That was before and not after (!!!!) this is the past and will never happen again. He got stronger afterwards and defeated the guys you mentioned
@@levondarratt787 he got it right. Watch the interview with Morozov on Kurdecha's channel and the man himself says that he cannot beat Prudnik right now.
@@stefan-bl7gh Dave is faster and has great side pressure, so he usually takes the first round against anyone. Not sure if he is stronger though as faster does not mean stronger.
@@perez8502 morozov is weak. JK!! It would be a great match. Every year that passes, of course, Devon will get weaker. He's almost 50 now. BUT incredible to think about. Who do you think would win?
@@polokucoch8112 right now probably devon, couple years morozov, cause like you said devons age is getting up there ,he can only mantain it for so long now
@@perez8502 Yeah. Don't now how much longer Devon can hold it, but to think that he is killing virtually the entire planet at this age is just amazing. He's the best ambassador for Arm-Wrestling. No one else is better.
Морозову надо понять что он не в ВАФ борется, и в старте уже кисть можно технично ломать к себе. Что делал Прудник во всех раундах, до реди гоу он тянул кисть к себе технично. судья просто не замечает это
Prudnyk is my favorite armwrestler. He is this generations Brzenk IMO. I’d like to see him pull Hutchings and Brzenk. I think he’d be the clear favorite in both
@The World Is Trash Prudnik is also a great giant killer with an excellent resume and they're 50+ year old men. I like John and Todd, but Prudnik is too much for both of them as he is right now.
@@user_1abc i know a lot of people on roids. Nobody looks like these guys. Hard work and genetics. Thats why roids are no factor, because everyone is on the sauce or you see everybody looking like Levan? Even the genetics decide how your body and mind respond to roids.
@@zerflexer9919 That's partly BS! *Everybody doesn't look like Levan because they are not on as much gear. IF Levan's growth was just due to "natural" genetics he would have stopped growing at age 20. But he actually started growing at 22-23 and attained much of his prime size post 25. That' DOESN'T happen naturally.* Many people have better avenues to earn 4x times money with half as much risk, and some people who wouldn't mind are just not on as much gear. That's why you don't see many people like him. But there definitely are roided freaks who are upwards of 350 lbs. Levan's own buddy Lasha Talakhadtze at 410 lbs looks bigger than Levan. Every other state in the US has a few guys that are >300 lbs with a lot of fat. All thanks to roids. 10 years ago people used to mask this abnormal growth by using alibis like "acromegaly" etc. But now everyone knows the truth and most people don't care. *Both Devon and Genadi added 20-30-40 or even 50 lbs whenever they felt like. Some don't want to run the risk of ruining their kidneys, liver and heart for a few $100 grand, and many can't afford the cost of these PEDs.* *So, people aren't bigger BY CHOICE.* If he had such great genetics like a hippo, he wouldn't need them PEDs to grow. He also wouldn't grow significantly at age 25. _Levan or Genadi grew a lot bigger much past the normal biological growth cycle Incl increase in size/bone density of wrist and skull._

@@zerflexer9919 _" I bet you if I did some cycles I would get big as fuck "_ Then why the fuck are you denying the fact that gear gets you size? LMAO! You gain size from where you start and not from where someone else is at. But it does get you size even "WITHOUT" much training and workout like Levan's or Schoolboy's. Cattle in Europe grows by 20-30% in size just by the use of GH and diet. No special training, no hard work. GH would have similar effect on humans. I have a BMI of ~22.5 that's neither skinny nor obese. You are #clueless.
True, definitely the best and the most well rounded in his weight class. Unfortunately there are monsters like Levan and Vitaly in the super heavy weight who are difficult to beat however great technique you have if you are in the lower weight class. However Prudnik has one of the fines techniques and great charisma and always a treat to watch.
Congratulations to Prudnyk he showed his Lavol is actually way ahead of Morozov and his raw power, wishing the best for Morozov in his recovery its very unfortunate
