Mark, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom.. Mine has been gone for over 30 yrs, but I am so much like her and look so much like her, she's within me as your Mom is within you! I love you, brother!! Thank you for what you do!!
I to know what it feels like, I lost my job due to covid. They shut down all the restaurants in cook county which then led me to losing my apartment. I’m currently living out of my car which I try and make the best of. I’ve applied to a bunch of places I’m hoping to get a call back. if anyone could help me with whatever you could bc I’m needing stuff like hand warmers which I stuff in my clothes at night when it’s cold. Also cheap burgers/ fast food. I know times are rough for everyone these days but if you are able to help me I have cash app and Venmo, user name Allyboy23 If your unable to help I totally understand.🙏🏻
@@alexhoffman7460 If you are here you are a survivor! I understand for I once was in your shoes. Things will get better and never lose hope. People like Mark with invisible people can and will help! God bless...

@Toynbee Yonkers ... Your struggle will be much less as you learn to reach out to help someone else. A smile, for example, doesn't cost anything. It can, however, put a bit of sunshine in a person's life. It's FREE. Bless someone as you pass by. It will come back to you in uncountable measure.
Agree and people do not understand. I became homeless after losing my car and apartment. With four sisters and four brothers, I was turned away and left to sleep on the street until there was an opening at the homeless shelter.
Imagine trying to grieve your spouse’s death but then on top of that to be penniless and learning that you’re going to be evicted. Alone. Just painful. 😔 I hope he is doing much better.
How can a human know a person is Jesus believer, we can't human and spirit are opposites to each other. No human can know humans heart only Jesus know.
"It helps when people care." As you live your life - please remember this when dealing with anybody in the world who crosses your path "It helps when people care."
That the mother figures be appreciated. What a wish. Not one was for himself. A beautiful man. May he be blessed with everything his soul needs here on earth.
That is EXACTLY WHAT I SAID. THIS MAN IS NOT SELFISH. HE MADE NOT ONE WISH FOR HIMSELF! EVERY WISH WAS FOR EVERYONE IN THAT SITUATION AND FOR EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. HE IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN.
I'd be willing to give this man a place to live and help him get on his feet. He would have to be willing to move to Kansas but i would be absolutely honored to do it. If the interviewer is willing to help me speak with this man, it's a done deal.
But he SHOULD wish that for himself. Being too selfless is what got him homeless. It's OK to think about your own well being first. You can't actually help anyone if you can't help yourself first. I wish people would Stop praising this and actually encourage people to do what's possible to get back up to sea level. He's too far into depression, you can hear that.

@@alexhoffman7460 God be with this person in comfort them because,Covid 19 has changed lives in so many people are getting lay off from work and can't keep up with rent due to losing their job,But the land lord don't care what that person going though in it's sad..If you had a cash app at least I can do is give you 5 dollars.
Don't just pray, do something. I gave my last two slices of cheese and a bottle of water to a "zombie" who didn't thank me, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Do something, do any little thing.
@Toynbee Yonkers Lol you complain about people only caring for themselves yet at the same time shit on people who pray for other people, being compassionate and hoping their situation will get better.
That old man just breaks my heart, he is so smart and a decent guy. He talks more sense than most, he so deserves a second chance. Please God someone offers him that or he even gets a room to call his own. 🙏💔

@@alexhoffman7460 The warmest greetings and best wishes from Germany. Everyones complaining about Covid here atm, and even though the politicans do fuck many things up here aswell, hearing your stories from over the pond makes me realise how blessed we are here because we don't get chewed up and spat out as it seems to be the case alot in the US right now. Stay strong Ya'll. Sadly I'm a broke ass dude myself.
I wish I could tell this man he is going to be OK. But, until we deal with the great inequity in our world, nothing will change. I pray for this lovely man.
I would love to help this man and would contribute to do so. It’s a shame no way is provided to help these people on an individual basis either through things like cash app/PayPal or by creating a general GoFundMe to provide a way to access some funds to help these interviewees. So frustrating!
May God give him the strength to keep on keeping on. His story touched me to tears. He is me, he is you, we are each other. This could happen to anyone. Love will conquer all.
@Choice Williams I don’t agree, this could happen to anyone, even working people. There are working people that are homeless too. Especially in a city where the rental rates are sky high.
@Choice Williams Being a caregiver for a terminally ill spouse is not the same as “living off women”. At the least he’s got issues with his mental health & likely physical issues as insomnia & incontinence were mentioned. Those things can prevent someone from working. Often they can’t access treatment for their medical & psychological issues; that combined with no housing and it becomes next to impossible to, “Get a job”.
@Choice Williams You seem to profess to know more about this situation than logically possible unless you have psychic powers, and you are making value judgments about this man when you’ve only listened to him speak for literally minutes. Don’t know why you’re all up & arms about men who live off women. For you to be protesting like this, I assume you must have personal experience with this issue & it hit a nerve. Yes, I’m sure your opinion will still stand, & I’ll let it stand with you on the other side of RU-vid. Sorry for your pain-I hope you find healing. ✌️☮️
I have watched nearly every episode of IP but something about *his* particular story, that touched me in a different way and is especially heartbreaking to me. You are in my prayers. Sending love and hugs and please set up a go fund me so I can help.
Yes, although it may not be practical to keep setting up individual GoFundMes for each interviewee; I think Mark should set up a general GoFundMe to raise funds that then could be tapped to give these people some help.
That is precisely why you aren't rich. The people who are on an unending quest for infinite greed at the cost of others. People who want to genuinely help others are the ones at the bottom. It's a bleak, yet true reality.
This man should be a speaker for the homeless. He is a very articulate and intelligent. He speaks from the heart. I pray for him to be able to get housing. He deserves a better life.
The way he talked about her being his "soulmate" and "fishing buddy" really got me. Just hearing him speak within' the first 30 seconds shows you how intelligent he really is.
This made me cry I feel the same towards my girl I been with her for 6 years she is my best friend to I wish you were in Georgia I would love to help u
The feeling of losing a dear one is unbelievably sad and we all have gone through it, wish you all the best for the future, hope you find a job and settle down.

I was homeless in Selby, north Yorkshire England for almost a year after my divorce. From Scotland so had nobody to help me except the salvation army cooking me a meal once a week and letting me charge my phone while I was eating. The worst thing was not being able to wash via shower or a bath, best part was my old Staffordshire bull terrier being by my side 24/7. She died in 2016 aged almost 23. Got a new staffie pup last year then adopted an old dog de Bordeaux this year 🤗. I hope he finds his happy place before the coming shit goes down for real in 2021.
I’d like to help but no way is ever provided to help these people individually, either through something like cash app/PayPal or a general GoFundMe where funds raised could be dispersed as needed. Even if you were willing to go to Cali, you could wander Venice Beach all day and never see him. So don’t feel bad if you have no funds to help because I have funds and can’t help either.
i want to help him too, im in canada, no elderly should be homeless. it really made me so sad to hear his sad story of how his life is and all that happened.
This beautiful man is pure love. God bless him..we all need to listen to his words and take a good look at ourselves... ..walk a mile in that man,s shoes...Where is the Love!.?.💔.We are all responsible for each other, we should step over the dividing lines and come together. Helping each other..it's the only way we can all be truly happy. Mankind needs to be be kind to man...just my heartfelt ...God bless ❤️🙏
It is a great shame for this world. How some can have so much for doing nothing and some give their life for others and have nothing in return . May God bless you .
The fact that this man is stuck in this situation is a absolute shame and embarrassment to this country. I'm sad and moved by his story but also so angry that we aren't doing better for our fellow humans who are just trying to get through life, especially a beautiful and insightful soul like this man. It doesn't have to be this way.
This man's story broke my heart. I have never felt so sickened by how humanity has turned out. What a beautiful soul. I live in the UK but would love to help this man in someway 😢
What a gentle man. He clearly has depression and needs medical help. He needs a full physical and medication for his incontinence issues. Is there a go fund me page for this gentleman?
I am very sorry for this man. So, I pray to God for his comfort and for his financial needs to be met. Losing his wife is terrible. I lost my husband a few years ago. And now I lost jobs in my cleaning and driving business, and I am struggling to pay rent to my landlord, and I'm afraid of eviction. But, at least I have a little dog to keep me company. God forbid that I become homeless with my dog! Living in a car is bad! I'm glad at least his mother is alive! Both my mother and father died, so I am an orphan now!
This man is so talented he could easily become a writer, cause he understands that the main problem is this so-called ,,structure" and he was right when he said that it's never about money but about people, may God bless his heart and I hope he's doing well now
What a beatiful person. It's difficult to feel a connection with these people interviewed and not then be able to help directly. Each person who is homeless matters, has value as a human being, has a story that people need to hear and care about.
My heart aches for this gentleman & all homeless. This should not be! God please be with these people & get them the help they need. These people are not all bad & should be helped first & foremost as well as our veterans. Help these humans before foreigners!
That man is a total gentleman. The elderly should NEVER EVER be homeless for any reason! We've failed in this area and need to do better. If I ever get rich, I'll literally search him out and help him get a place and be able to live!!!
what a kind compassionate man Simba is, To listen to his life story and the emotion he conveys whilst telling it is both Heart breaking and Inspirational. To have watched your soul mate and beloved battle illness and then lose her has to be the hardest cruel episode someone could ever endure and yet Simba has a dignity and generosity of spirit that shines through. We know how much you loved and adored her and she was very lucky to have shared her life with such a fine human being as you Simba. Best wishes and the kindest of thoughts i send to you from the uk.
God Help this Man has gone through hell! May The Lord Bless him in a great way! May his wife Rest in Peace! Im very sorry Sir for your great loss. xxoo
