So she ripped that baby out of her daughter's hands knowingly that her daughter loved the baby. How can a mom do such a thing I can not do that to my child . Poor girl.
I agree with you 100% luz Vega, especially when her daughter was the one who bought the doll with her own money. That is really a scumbag thing to do to your child!!
I say go for getting your money back. The doll left in beautiful condition and returned damaged. The idiot obviously didn't think about that problem. I'd definitely be for teaching her a lesson. Especially with negative feedback being left on your account and knowing the child loved the doll.
Vans aesthetics you can use folk art or genesis paint, there are a lot of tutorials but I recommend customdollbaby’s tutorials there so helpful! Btw the paint can you get online

Exactly! If a baby has a booboo, I can pretend they were born like that. If it's a broken eye, I use an eye patch. A broken foot can have a cast or some other wrap-around. Just a few examples, it's good to be creative.
Things like this are why I get so nervous selling on eBay and anxious waiting for the positive feedback! She’s an adorable doll. It’s a shame she took a doll from her daughter that she loved, and that she’s the reason why they couldn’t go to Rose. It’s probably something the little girl looked forward to for months.
I hope you turned in the damage and took it to paypal. Might be a headache but that scammer needs to be taught a lesson and so does ebay. Also it is the right thing to do. I pulled all my listing off of ebay a long time ago. Sellers just have way to much trouble with them. Sad she would yank that doll from her daughter's arms just because she is was jealous. I won't sell to her.

I bought a used reborn that was listed as painted by Stephanie. I absolutely love the painting on the doll. It looks so real. People compliment the doll. But i have purchased a silicone off there by a different artist. The silicone looks like it has burns on the skin. But we still love the doll. Just have to make sure ya look close at the pictures and feedback. I could never return any of my babies boo boos or not.
That is the baby I was dying to have myself too but she sold right before I could get her myself I'm sad to see her so messed up when she was so beautiful before she left
You deserve to get your money back you work hard for it and you try to do a kindness and then someone like this comes along to spoil things I do feel bad for the daughter how rotten to take the doll away

I’m sorry you had to deal with that! That’s why I don’t use eBay anymore when I sell my dolls😢 I had a similar situation happen to me in December and it’s AWFUL. Ever since then, I just stick to Mercari and my own website to sell my dolls❤️ The amount of scammers on eBay is insane!!!
If you get your money back maybe you can ship the doll back to the little girl. She is also the victim as you are. It is always good to do good if possible, especially since she sold other dolls for this doll.
My mum always tries to get me to look for dolls on sites like fishpond etc because she refuses to order off of an American site. I got my first doll witch was actually a scam off fishpond and my mum was annoyed at me when I told her I was a bit disappointed that the doll was a scam. The hair wasn’t even rooted properly and the eyelashes have already fallen out after 4 or so years
I would still go ahead and open the claim with PayPal. Even if you fix the doll up you are still using supplies and time to fix her mistakes. There is no excuse for her actions. people like that make me not even want to sell dolls at all. By the way LOVE you’re and Jackie’s videos :)
I called PayPal. Because it's all done by eBay now. They can't protect me. They said my best bet is to sell from my website from now on because they can protect me there.

OMGOSH! This is just ridiculous. I bought a custom reborn and the artist was in contact with me early this yr. Well she is suddenly not responding to my messages when I was supposed to have received him in May-June. Since I was new on eBay I thought well I guess that was a loss. I think that what has happened to you is absolutely insane. Your post states that there is no buyers remorse, OH maybe it should state jelousy. Lol. I've loved and admired your BEAUTIFUL BABIES for quite some time now, and don't understand how anyone could mistreat one of them. This doll is still beautiful and I wish I could buy her. Actually I'd just love to be mommy to one of your BEAUTIFUL babies.
I am an artist of only a few years ,,I have done customs for friends and a few from facebook..I hesitate to try selling from seeing so many scams ..I take pride in my work and think I do a good job.. I love the craft and the dolls .I make a few each year for donation to nursing homes ..I just really see so many scammers ,it seems not worth it to try selling on ebay or etsey . To make a living from it would be lovely as I am retired .. Oh by the way you and Jackie do simply beautiful work.. And Jackie is the best rooter of hair I have ever seen .. I'm so sorry you're going through this, but thank you for sharing...it helps new artists better understand how things should work and how they do work sometimes. It also helps teach us what is expected of us as artists and buyers. I get being unhappy with a purchase sometimes, but you (she) need to address it immediately...not wait until your kid plays with it and gets attached to it. Shitty and shady all around.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. You have every right to fight back and go to PayPal. I would do the same thing. That baby is beautiful. Your basic art is better than a lot of babies going for double the price. I always buy through PayPal to be on the safe side. I don’t know how ppl that scam on both the sellers and buyers side and sleep at night. I have one of your earlier babies and it’s paint is still 99 percent in tact. It’s a Celeste. Who’s to know the mom didn’t rub that paint off. Cuz your paint stays on the dolls for years. I’m not the first owner of the doll either.

I had been scammed by a seller on eBay. He sold me a Lee Middleton Doll. When she arrived, she was damaged. She had a red mark across her face. But, I still kept her and love her. Your dolls are beautiful. I’m sorry that this happened to you. ❤️💯

Wow that is so jacked up that they didn't even protect you at all I'm sorry this happened to you. That baby is gorgeous the painting is beautiful. That lady definitely had buyer's remorse and eBay is going to really go under if they don't start protecting their sellers. I have always been afraid to sell on eBay because I have been hearing these horror stories. How could they even refund this lady her money when you haven't even confirmed that you received the item back and that the item was in good condition. I hope you get your money back real soon
