@@ralphlaurence3134 the trailer was incredible & almost seems to have outlined the movie scenes in a specific order leading up to a certain climax but the movie is different than what the trailer had me believe. It's extremely darker & fast paced. I still prefer both the original & remake before this one. But "Evil Dead Rise" is really good.

It's relevant to the way teenagers speak today. What is cringe? You are going to hate new movies then because every movie reflects the current trends and styles of the time it was made. Americsn Pie is an example. It showed how most teen boys talked in the early 2000s. It would be considered cringe today though. This is an unconventional but very common family. Musician, tattoo artist, dj, nerd... they live in Los Angeles... it's pretty normal for this kind of dialogue to exist. The little girl acts like literally every child her age. That's nothing new.

You sound like those people in the 60's who were like "This film has a black person in it!!" or even back in the 19th century, you sound like those people who were like "A woman is in this play?!" It is YOUR own fault that you focused harder on the gender of the actor (not the character but the actor) and not the film or the dialogue or the cinematics or the score or literally anything else than the fucking gender of the actor playing a character. Trans actors have been in film and television since the 1980's and 1990's. This is a fact. You will continue to see more of them as time goes by. Boohoo... Get a hobby, weirdo.
