For anyone wondering, the son is the same person that played Koby on One Piece, and also if your confused by why he looks so cute (pause) its because he was born a she. Had me thrown off when I first saw this trying to figure out why this kid looked more like a niece than a nephew.

If I see something being protected/trapped by a whole load of religious symbols, I am NOT messing with it. I don't care which religion it is. I don't have to agree with someone's idea of god(s) or the afterlife to understand that whatever is being guarded was considered evil and dangerous.

Heavily agreed. Pat definitely could've put the boys onto that one instead of this one. Evil Dead Rise was good and I liked the change of setting and story by further expanding on there being more Necronomicons out there. This book is not the same one found in the 2013 version and the book in the 2013 version is not the same book that was found in the 1981 original. It has its enjoyable points but other than that the original and the 2013 version are still the best ones out of the franchise although imho there's not one bad film in The Evil Dead series. Will definitely be watching the next entry.

It is officially spooky szn I hope we get a lot more horror they should reacted to the 2013 remake before doing this one so the story makes a little more sense but it is still a fun little horror it's not my favorite I really wanted this one to give me that cringe factor that the 2013 one did but it just missed that for me it was still pretty gory but just not as good I mean the bo cutter scene lives rent-free in my head.

Ion know about this being a "L" movie but...honestly I have to agree. M3GAN surprised the hell out of me with how good and enjoyable it was. And that was a *January* horror movie release date too. I went into the theaters with very low expectations and came out afterwards thoroughly impressed.
