EVM-12S 300 vs. our LOUDEST drivers 

The cab arrived at my door after 48 hours from UK to Malaysia (not Indonesia) - its the BEST smoothest velvet monster speaker Ive ever heard! It really responds as you turn it up the high end dip goes away a little. But its SO rich sounding! Thanks Alex & the guys at Barefaced! BEST...CAB...EVER...and I already have a reformer Vintage 30 cab - which held the title before this!

Really impressed with that Redback. Surprised me! Not familiar with any of these speakers prior to this. Edit: the EVM on dirt sounds amazing! Love the Redback on clean.

So far, I like the Copperback best in every scenario.

For as much as you can tell by a RU-vid video, the Redback sounds the clearest and balanced. Mids sound dark a bit muddy or pushed in the others. Redback WITHOUT any doubt!!!

redback & the ev sound similar. the copperback is kinda bright. the mids on the EV are nice. probably cut real good.

Show off those new powered cabs next, man! I got a 110 Upsetter that needs a stereo buddy!

I have a theory that if you stack up enough Celestions, they won't make such a horrid fail tone when they are subjected to higher volume. I rely on EVM12Ss for my core tone but I am stacking up Celestion cones for the big iron. Two cabinets wired to 32 Ohms for now, but I hope to get some 8X12 and 9X12 boxes made. Do the Redback and Copperback not even equal my old G12H-100s? 🤔 This is what I think that I am hearing on this, I suppose that is unfair, but also I would be surprised if your Standard 12" Bass Transducer did not hold up very well against this bunch.

The Redback always sounds good. The Neo Copperback alone is not the best speaker and it sounds best in 2x12 cab with a Redback or another powerful and balanced speaker. The EVM-12 S is also not my favorite. You have to try the Thick Boy speaker from OverTonez Audio. This speaker has 300w and sounds really great. For my taste and my music styles one of the best speakers for nearly everything. Together with a BN12-300S really great.

Guys! The EVM is made to sing,,, for soloing, obviously not for metal!
