I remember a couple years ago when kaneblueriver had to fight Justin at capcom cup and cried before the game started and he lost, and now here he is beating justin wong at evo 2015 and then going on to win the whole thing, its cool to watch the growth of a player
I remember seen this on the stream, it was heartbreaking. I wanted justin to win so badly and seen this was like a kick to the nuts. But can´t take it away from KBR, he has lost every single match against justin ever and he finally beat him in the world championship. I´m rooting for you now KBR!!!!!!!!!
paladin400 Yes, it registered into my mind immediately when KBR finally beat his bane. His team big bodies can hurt everyone badly, but he's yet to beat Justin until EVO.

I think KBR has a good chance to win the title now. This team big bodies can wipe you out in no time, Jwong made a sloppy lapse in a few seconds and it's over.
+Jo Nathan tbh for a team of big bodies, it isn't even that immobile anymore, simply on the basis that while he tends to approach right at the beginning (hulk gets the first two seconds of any game for free) he can just lame you out making you either a) chip out to death or b) try to approach and get smacked by all that armor

yoomazir He used hoodlum launcher medium, which is unblockable move, but that move is very easy to punish and haggar players doesn't use it without cover/assist. If JWong would have jumped over him or backdash and punish. KBR would have most likely lose that match. That was a hella risky and ballsy move from KBR and it was definitely worth it!

DJ Revolver because it is a lousy game, the game mechanics are lame. at 3:00 you can end a character 100% dmg with first attack. and then there is the X factor. the game mechanics determine the matches, not the players. notice how the top8 players of mvc3 are always different, because this is not a game of individual skills. they should seriously remake and balance mvc2, its the better game.
Ken Yap you speak truth. The X factor was an overkill for this game. The mechanics are bad as well. Plus this game practically shows you how to combo with each character, which is lazy.

I hate KaneBlueRiver... his team is just full of tanks with no mechanic difficulty, high damage and high health... he plays with very low risk and big profit
Joaquin Aguirre What are you talking about? If you think that his team has no risk, you are highly mistaken. All of his characters have moves with a ton of ending lag that gives characters the chance to punish them hard. KaneBlueRiver put in hard work with his team in terms of optimizing the damage and setups. If you didn't know, none of his characters are exactly that great. His playstyle revolves around solid reads and a lot of patience. Exactly how that discredits him is beyond me.
High health? You do realize we're talking about marvel right..? Yea they have high health but most characters in this game have touch of death combos, even on them. Then you take into account a LOAD of what this team can do is unsafe as hell so he has to read his opponent perfectly, especially someone of Justin's caliber who has beaten kbr pretty much every time the two have fought. Now tell me could you beat Justin with that team if it's so cheap? And if it is super cheap, why aren't more people using that team?
Your comment has to be the most ignorant thing I've read considering his team. No top player ever believed that a big body team (low/mid tier) could take EVO and yet KBR proved them wrong. Go ask any top player and they will tell you how much time/dedication KBR put just to make his team so deadly. The guy puts in so much work when he literally travels the world playing against other Mavel killers.
Have you ever played a MvC game in your life? What are you talking about? It's always been about juggles. That's what the teams do in these games, help you out with combos.
BandagedThumbs I've played all of them and no they haven't the teams where there to give you support but not juggling like this where you get hit even when you're on the ground.
+ThelastGinyu Dude, MvC1 had infinites, MvC2 had infinites. MvC2 had OTG attacks too (the ones that knock you while you're on the ground). Watch MvC2 matches, like, the high level ones. The only difference is they removed the uber-high execution requirement from doing combos.
