Some Evo 5 came from the factory with updated driveshafts with the same length as Evo 6 units depending on production dates, if you buy a new axles today are the same part for both Evo 5/6, so probably you have the shorter ones already in your car, but like I comment in another video lowering the car as much as you did you need the Evo 4 driveshafts. Adam, use liquid spray wax and it will take that exhaust stuff right off the bumper with wiping. Had the same problem on my R35 GTR and had to do that every car wash.
I spent a lot of time as a kid playing Gran Turismo 2, but after that, I can't say I've ever spent much time really looking at the Evo 5. But god damn, it's a good looking car. If I had one on the drive I would just sit and stare at it for hours.

How did you manage to import the Evo 5 to USA prior to the 25 year law? Anything simple need to be done to the car or does Connecticut just not have to conform to federal laws?

Beautiful yes. Crippling taxes? Yes. Cost of living? Pretty high... But all things considered I had way more trouble getting my car to pass inspection after moving to MA!
