Coming from a body work profession, I would strongly suggest sand blasting the rust away completely and sealing the clean metal with an epoxy primer before undercoating. Rust will always find a way to spread
I want to hear Alberto do an English American accent. He should practice talking like a white dude, so he mock you back when you do your Spanish accent to him.
"Cant sit for a year and never get finished." Love tommyfyeah's taste in cars but i cant sit there and watch him talk about a build and why its taking so long, just to buy another one and add a gem to a growing shit sandwich, That everyone has to help eat..
you should get the inner chassis wax oiled as well as they are known to rot inside them.. just a thought! should defiantly take the skirts off and cover there 100% is a must do!
Came to the comments for this, glad I wasn't the only one to notice this. Reminds me of whenever I try to trim my beard stoned and get too carried away lmao
The evo won't be street legal in the states until 2023 I believe. Probably going to keep it there and import it to sell for profit eventually in the US.
The shit Ct uses on the roads in the winter will kill a car so fast its not even funny. That's the one thing I hate about living here nice cars don't stay nice for long if driven in the winter.
Adam Doesn’t need to do it, but does it for vid input. 🖐🏻😎 I love it. Full send on the Mech side of the evo. Glad Alberto is there to enjoy the time. I Just want an ls in the lz car fam. LZ’S LS 👊🏻😎
Undercoat actually traps moisture in and rust should be por converted to primer and treated they make better things that are oil based I believe than undercoating. Not many people are aware but ask them boys in ny or somewhere similar:) just fyi
harbor freight, only good thing about the place is its cheap. but just know in a month you'll be buying the same thing again. although i did buy a $100 mig welder from there last year and somehow it still works.
dont undercoating with asphalt or ruberized stuff, use oil or wax...put it in the outside and in the iside of the frame, doors, trunk, hoods, etc...that what we use in canada. if you go watch a video from south main auto about the undercoating you will see what will happen to the evo (or any car, truck...) btw when you wire wheel rust you dont remove all of it, what you see is not the reality, its like a cancer when it start its spread and putting undercoating will make it worst and worst while you wont see it. if you look closely on recent car, most manufacturer dont put undercoating anymore because it rot the frame way earlier than it should. just clean, prime, paint and clear with clear the resist sand blast
Adam, Next time you should dry ice blast it before you get the undercoat and don't forget to give it an nice rust protective base coat before you spray it. If the rust stays on the metal it will keep oxidizing no matter what you do with it as soon the water finds the way to it and it will one day. The quick and cheap way to prevent it to continue to rust is to wax the shit out of it to block the water and air getting to the metal. Helps for a season or two before you have to redo it. Dry ice blasting is great and removes all loose paint and dirt or grime and does not harm the good paint or plastics in anyway. You do not need to take anything off the car to get it clean of any thing.
thats kinda crazy that you had the wrong impedence injector in your car I know my ecu will fry itself if you do that, according to the company. but it has a cheap main chip so itd be alright
