This may be a stupid question, but if the car isn’t completely level, which way would you want it to be tilted to avoid losing any transmission fluid when you pull the axle?

It depends on which axle your removing if your removing the left side tilt to the right

Sorry for all the questions, but I noticed you didn't use a torque when reinstalling. Maybe this is fine for the knuckle bolts, but I've read that axle nuts really should be torque properly... How do you know how many ugg-duggas to give it with the impact wrench?

Thanks for the video! Is the procedure any different for passenger side? I was an idiot and left the car with my strut disconnect for weeks with nothing holding up the rotor… the stress seemed to cause the boot to rip, which makes senses..

It's pretty similar! I believe I did the other side on video! I just don't remember which video it is!

Sorry to keep asking questions, but do have any tips for locking the axle back on the transmission side? Do you put on transmission splines up to locking ring, then through hub and then use hub to push past locking ring?

Just push it in and it will snap back in
