We did not learn about Bridget's pronoun changes until the next day when it went up on the website. The usage of "him" was only according to the lore as we understood it during the reveal. There's a lot of speculation about what was said at the start. They said "He's BACK!" But the crowd noise distorted it. This reaction from the crowd was deafening!

I know we're still far from being back to normal in the world, but I missed these kind of reactions so much over the last couple years. Getting all that energy from the crowd collectively losing it at the same time is just magical.
@@fauxz3782 What's interesting is even Joe Biden has said we no longer have to wear masks anymore, but it's these companies that want to feel like they're doing the right thing by taking extra security precautions by requiring masks. I hate it by the way, cause I want to see people's smiling faces and all the raw emotion, but the masks put a damper on that.
@@JimiCanRead during the first few weeks of launch May would spam the dolphin attack, doing so she shout s"Totsugeki!" every time. since the game has shaky netcode at best, and people where still practicing and labbing, online ranked was just flooded with May players all spamming the same dolphin attack this resulted in her getting a bad reputation as an annoying character.
@@JimiCanRead its got better, but a launch is always shaky, and with so many high profile people playing than xrd it got alot of eyes on it. Like regardless of your stance on vtubers and Streamers alot of them where trying out the game.

When I was a kid, Bridget was the very first character I loved in Accent Core, because a Yo-Yo weapon is so sick. I completely lost my shit after seeing her return in Strive.
I love seeing people jump for joy seeing when they Saw Briget. She Is my favorite and so many people told me that no one else liked him And I was likely to never see Briget again, yet here we are with everyone at the biggest fighting game tournament losing their fucking minds because our girl is back.

@@SirStrikeFreedom Backstory's pretty simple and cute too Bridget is born as a twin in a village where same gender twins are considered bad luck and frowned upon. His mom dress him up and raise him like a girl to fool the village. He's kinda unhappy and decides to go away from the village, become a hunter and bring money back with him to prove that the superstitious stigma of unlucky same gender twin is BS. You can find some of his old design, he wore a nunn outfit.
