I have the same model and love it. Take it to the next level with Hougen annular cutters. Just one hole, no need to step up. They make a nice variety pack of different sizes and each one is available to replace incase you do something wild with it and break it (been there, done that). Congratulations, nice to see you in out of the weather and dirt.
Allen. I got one used from market place and 100% agree. Different brand, but same results. I did build a pipe drilling jig using a piece of 3/8 flat stock welded to the outside corner of a piece of 2” angle. The angle is clamped onto the pipe with a chain vice grip and the drill sits on the plate. And I made a stand like others mention to use it like you are as a drill press. Lots of videos about that. I have found that if you’re using it on something less than 1/4” metal you can put a piece of plate on the other side of your material to help the magnet stick better. And those annual cutters are the bomb. Keep up the great videos and God’s speed recovering with your back. Scott, Vass NC
Allen, Thanks man. I am looking at buying one right now. Damn I'm glad I got to see your video. I've been going back and forth on what brand and model to buy.
Allen is this an affiliate link to the mag drill? Do you get any credit or commission? Only asking because I'm for sure buying one and if you get a piece if i buy through your link I'll go that route even if it's a little more money. If not I'll just buy the ones offered at my metal shop. Thanks again for the videos and awesome content. Feel better soon man. Nick
Allen, what type of metal do you use for the grill rack. Is it stainless steel? I’m asking because I just purchased a grill similar to yours and the cooking rack is not stainless steel. Should I replace it? Lastly, where is your shop located?
