Kara, 2NE1, Miss A, 9Muses and now 4Minute... it seems 2016 is the year for girlgroups to disband or lose essential members.

Am I the only one who love "Volume Up" outfit ?! Like... wow how can in 2012 they has amazing outfit.

I just want to thank 4minute for providing us with 7 years of edgy, non-cute performances. I have heard that the life of a K-pop star can be grueling, so if some members do not sign a new contract, I can understand. I wish all the best for each member no matter what choice they make.

4minute always came out with great songs. They were consistently good. Hate was definitely not the right song for their last comeback and Korea didn't pay an attention to it sadly :( . It's sad to see another iconic girl group to disband

I've been listening to kpop since 2009 and it really sucks to see my generation of groups slowly leaving. 4Minute never got the recognition they deserved. As a group they were always in the shadows of 2ne1 or cube did a horrible job and only promoted Hyuna so the rest of the girls never really got a chance to show their true potential. It really sucks but I wish all five of them luck on whatever they plan on doing later on. T__T

I was here when they debuted, and i'm still here to see them disband :( 4minute will always be remembered as one of the best girl group in the golden era of kpop...

What I really like about 4Minute is that they have a solid rap line as compared to other popular girl groups. Try watching rap performances of Jiyoon. Sohyun and Hyuna, then you will know what I'm talking about. Sad that they have to part ways, but Ill be supporting them no matter what. I JUST HOPE CUBE BRINGS BACK TROUBLEMAKER, LIKE HELL. FIGHT ME CUBE, FIGHT ME. HYUNSEUNG AND HYUNA ALREADY LEFT THEIR GROUPS, MIGHT AS WELL BRING BACK TROUBLEMAKER.

DAMMIT!! ALL THE GOLDEN ERA GROUPS ARE SLOWLY CRUMBLING AWAY!

This caught me by surprise, damn. :/ They were one of my favorite bands... But come on, where are all the badass K-Pop Girl Groups ? I'm getting sick of all these new "cute" GG's! My only hope is now YG's new Girl Group. Of course we still have 2NE1, but YG needs to hurry up right now! I can't take another disbandment. Especially not from more senior groups! Blackjacks are with you 4Nias. T_T

For me is still hard to realise that 4Minute disbanded when I listen to their songs... they, along with BoA, 2NE1 and BigBang brought me to Kpop

I remember when i was starting to enter to the kpop world, let's go backwards in 2012, 4minute was one of the groups that started to grow on me, especially HUH, Heart to Heart, I MY ME MINE, WHY, VOLUME UP & LOVE TENSION! I was so happy to hear them, in that moment for me they we're one of those groups that by just listening to them you grow with their music and their badass concepts! I really treasure them as my favorite girl group! It's so sad they disbanded, but every member chooses their paths right? I am still amazed, I literally cried on this one. I will miss them :( 4NIA FOREVER!

Simply unbelievable that one of the biggest girl group will have to disband , you made ​​me cry with this video , they revolutionized kpop , with attitude to music and without these aegyo of freshness than others have and also without being too sexy, they showed that to be the best have to have attitude. crazy and hate just started their career internationally and I think it has gotten great reviews from the international music lovers. and then why suddenly after their huge success of crazy and hate, they have to disband? 😭😭 doesnt make any sensee😭😭 but as a 4nia I will keep supporting them esp Hyuna that still in the entertainment world.

I never considered myself a 4nia, but I always liked 4minute and their songs. I just realized after this disbandment news that they were probably my second favorite girl group. They had a unique style that currently be found in kpop. This is the worst news I've heard all year.

this is so sad. i was mad when mama didnt invite 4minute to perform crazy last year. then hate came and i was anticipating for a badass stage perf but they disbanded. i feel so sad. 4minute is a very talented group. but ill be happy for their own individual careers in the future. fighting!

I'm listening to all my 4minute songs and crying so much. They had such a unique and original sound and feeling to them, and they were incredibly real and genuine. They will forever be active in 4nia hearts.

I feel so sad upon 4Minute's disbandment. I'm not a huge fan of them but ugh I cant believe that the kpop legends are slowly falling down. Disbanding months after KARA disbanded, really :( I'm pretty sure that the rest might follow them but hopefully not too soon.. I think if this continues, KPOP wont make a single noise anymore. Yeah there is always this rookie group that gets our attention these days, but they will never be able to replace these legends. They will always have a special place in our heart, right? :( I'm a hardcore SONE and tbh I'm sort of multifandom too but if SNSD disbands I dont think I'll be able to stan the rest of my fav groups even if I pertain myself as a "multifandom" I'll probably forget how to be a fan.. I mean what's the point, I'll just keep on missing my favorite group and there's nothing to look out for anymore. I know a lot of 4minians wont probably be a KPOP fan anymore after 4minute disbanded (or at least I saw some already) but let's not forget the memories as a KPOP fan, KPOP is seriously a good run. 4minute is the best kpop girls group of electronic sound pop and girl's hiphop. Also, the group has a very unique concept, And all of members have excellent talent. Who dare not agree with those?

I've been into Kpop since middle school, but I barely got into 4Minute during high school. In 9th grade, I was in the library, studying for AP exams, and it was almost midnight. I went to Pandora, and the first thing that played was "Volume Up," which was my anthem for the rest of the year. Whether I was walking across the school to class or driving on my 30 minute commute to school, I always had several 4Minute songs on my playlist because you can't get their sound anywhere else. In many ways, I grew up the past four years with their music, and I will miss the excitement when I see a new video on their RU-vid channel. Thanks for everything, 4Minute. We will all miss you.

This video means 6 years of my life... And now these amazing times come to an end... I feel empty, especially when it's night or when I'm alone... They were such an amazing talented group but also really underrated (although the surprised everyone with 'Crazy') I'll love and support them forever no matter what path they choose! I love you 4minute! Thank you for everything!

It'd be quite sad to see these girls go if they feel that they are not successful enough anymore. I think they reached their peak with Crazy, but even with Hate flopping, it is highly possible that they will create more hit songs with their ability if they choose to continue. They got really popular with What's My Name, but What Are You Doing Today didn't go quite while, they changed their concept to Crazy which was a success, but they flopped again with Hate. If Cube can give them more good songs and more exposure, they can definitely still go a far way. Moreover I think Cube should really try to secure this girl group, Beast is already going down in popularity (sorry to their fans but this is how I feel), and CLC isn't doing all that well. If they choose to put their company's future on Pentagon, I'd think that's pretty stupid considering putting all focus on a rookie group which hasn't debuted over an already established girl group.

I feel so sad for this group but I think Hyuna must feel especially bad because she only has a solo career to work on now and she said she prefers working with a group. I hope she can continue to be successful but I doubt she'll ever work in another girl group and even if she does it won't be the same as 4Minute. I know all the girls are probably a bit disheartened but they made the decision to leave. I feel like it sucks that she's the only one who decided to stay.

4MINUTE has been one of my faves since I got into k-pop in 2011, so sad to see them go. Jihyun is my bias, but I doubt she'll stay in the entertainment industry much more. Mirror Mirror is legendary! 4MINUTE is legendary.

This actually hurts my heart, they were one of the first KPOP groups I got into-What A Girl Wants was my sonnggggg back in the day. I will miss them and listen to their songs as remembrance. I hope that 2YOON continue to stay within music-it will be a shame to see such talent go to waste.

By FAR you are my favorite Kpop band. I hate to see you, 4M, disband and part ways, but thank you very much for the songs I don't understand lol. Tbh... nowadays there are too much kpop groups and in my heart I'm like c'mon...decrease the number of groups. Although disbandment happened for lot's of group...those are the groups should stay. Those non-talented group should disband cos they're just adding on to the number of performances and lot's of things when they're not talented at all. Why do companies let untalented groups debut??? Why???

this video just made me confirm to myself how much I loved 4minutes music! I loved everything they produced, from hot issue to hate. though they have disbanded, i will forever be a 4nia. plus! i really love how they crossed out different genres in music to actually express their own creativity and style and that they also ended with the type of music they actually started with.
