04:56 The ‘Imperial Japanese Flag’ is the Japanese military (now Self Defence Force) flag/Kyokujitsuki) and has little to no affiliation as a national flag throughout its entire history. It’s historically correct to use the national Japanese flag (Hinomaru/Nisshōki) in the 1940s, as that was very much their national flag of the time.
drew meticulously editing out my country's flag (trinidad and tobago) after independence (1962 [10:45]) that ive been watching out for for 10 minutes just to spite me:
2:58 no, there was an occupation zone on west and puppet gov on southeast (GG). On the soviet side it was just occupation (no "Polish soviet republic")
Hey, since someone screamed at me not to make a petition last time, I've decided to make a petition. Let's see how this will go, shall we? This is the third video where I'm asking Drew to react to a NotJustBikes video. If you agree with my request, please indicate your support in the replies below. Thank you for your time, and have a nice day. How's this?
As a Brazilian I should stop by just to say, each star from our flag represents not only the constellations you can see on the southern hemisphere but also represents the states of the country much like the USA. So the reason you see stars being added is because new states were being created
I recently learned a bit about Brazilian history, and it’s crazy to me that even though the USA and Brazil are both extremely different countries, they have quite a few things in common historically speaking. I also find it funny that all the countries that formed from colonies from Europe have similar relationships to their “parent country” like the relationship between the UK and the US, Spain and Mexico, and Portugal and Brazil. I just find it kind of crazy how history goes throughout the American continent.
They just ignored that Spain changed its flag 3 times from 1930 - 1939, and the video began with Fascist Spanish flag from the beginning 🤦♂️. I'm sure there are more errors just as big as this one
Simply rotating the Philippine flag 90 degrees to make it vertical indicates that the Philippines is in a state of war. When the flag is vertical, blue must come first from left to right to indicate that the Philippines is at peace, while blue is on top when the flag is horizontal.
Germany never changed the flags of any of the countries at all, at most you can argue for Czechoslovakia and Poland because they divided it up, and Asutria because it was incorporated into Germany, but this doesn't apply to Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, France.....
Japan did not use the “imperial” flag as its official flag, they have always had the rising sun flag, with the other one being mainly the army and navy flags
ww2 croatia or NDH never had a flag with a swastika it was the tricolored normal flag with white starting checkerboard and the Ustaša U in a pleter pattern border. Kinda disappointed how detailed that video is but such a big thing like having a own flag in german occupation getting no attention is sad and modern croatia is not accurate as well in 1990 croatia got a new flag like the modern one with red starting checkerboard but without the blue "crown" of regions and then they got the one thats in use now
