Role-playing as either BEAR or USEC never gets old. It's unbelievably fun to look at some of the guys from the raid series and just copy and paste your outfit and gun, and scream voicelines at enemies.
@@CanadianToCat one time a buddy and I wore the cop hat and Kirasa ('cause blue) and pretended to be cops we arrested a guy in 3 story and got him to drop his gun after his buddy died, lol. good times. I wish people VOIP'd more. VOIP is fun.
I once tried a STALKER loadout, AK-74 with plum and a PSO scope, a Makarov, gasmask, basic soviet helmet, rig and backpack. Wasn't effective but sure was fun getting kills with it

Based, I go full afghanistan myself. Stock AK-74 or AKMS, Bakelite mags of course, Khaki 6B3TM rig, tanish backpack and either an SSH-68 or beanie w/aviators and facemask. Pair that with the SPN pants and the Sumrak top and well, I can’t hit anything because irons, my armor sucks and I can’t really fit anything. Nor can I hear. But damn do I drip. I wish we had more variations on the Soviet era armor/rigs, like more flora patterns and khaki patterns so we could do Chechen era kits too.
You forgot a minoritary subspecies, the antiaesthetic rat. They mod their weapons for performance, but they also take aesthetics into account, making their weapon the worst looking possible, with mismatched colors and bad looking mods to detour their killers from looting it.

At the end of the last wipe when they were doing a 99% off Trader event, I built a short barrel SCAR-H. It didn't kick quite as bad as I expected, so this wipe if I progress far enough I'm making another one.
@@ivanquiles4903 I bought the game about a month before the wipe so my recoil skills were poopoo. The sight picture bounces all over the place but a good sight with a wide view like an EOTech helps in addition to a good foregrip.
As a rat I have adapted to utilize dark magic in order to make even the most powerful and effective guns look as unappealing as physically possible. Anti-aesthetic if you will, it helps with insurance returns.
@@BURRDAWG_ I don't use offline mode for kills. Barring a few very specific exceptions where a kill needed to be a certain way to fit a narrative. I would say bout 98.5% of all clips on this channel are recorded genuinely in online raids. (The one's where I actually get a kill that is).
Sound was beautifully balanced. So nice to be able to watch a video without headphones loud enough to hear the person without getting the cops called on me because my neighbors heard gunshots

Nah. My go-to build last wipe was a replica of my competition AR as an ADAR and a Mk18 clone shortboi ADAR. The shortboi got me through my early wipe pretty hard.
I run a replica of my AR. In game its an M4 with Razor 1-6, KAC URX handguard, a handstop, predator light, SOPMOD stock, 210mm barrel and PMAG. Substitute an RC2 for the mini monster.
@@tomlawrence2459 My comp rifle isn't exact 1:1 of my IRL gun, but I try to run a 406mm barrel, MUR-15 upper, URX guard with handstop, and a prism scope since my Vortex Strikefire and magnifier aren't in the game.

Playing SPT lets me maximize sperging out by focusing on aesthetics over stats and create "authentic" builds regardless of "viability", so I can live out my LARP fantasies without the LA part, lol.

This is too damn accurate. I run my VSS with 10rnd mags, PSO-1m2 and an Eye Cup in Semi Auto only, just like God intended it to be ran. My buddies always make fun of me for it but you can't argue with Aesthetics and the way God intended the gun to be ran. I also run a bunch of other guns I own EXACTLY how I own them. I don't find fun in Meta, I find fun in using what I have IRL in game.
You forgot to mention the extra exceptional case where users begin to trade out subsonic or non tracer ammunition for tracer variants, because it just looks so cool.
my most fav aesthetic mod is sopmod 2 and ak from from girl frontline. i can say that most of my weapon mod base on girl frontline. ngl the weapon mod from that game look really cool tho.

The “DakDak” from Counter Strike is the superior weapon. A full vanilla SA-58 on semi auto with a 16x scope. So simple, so pure, so bad....but so powerful at the same time
It's really too bad that these are all only "nonsensical" in the context of Tarkovs modding system. irl they're completely conventional and effective setups. I think if the difference between a stock weapon and a meta weapon wasn't so insanely huge there'd be a lot more room to customize guns how you like without sacrificing performance, at least not nearly as much. Or at least make a bunch of the attachments have the exact same stats as each other so not every meta weapon looks the exact same.
how about the type of looters. stash runners of interchange , the food runners of goshan, the blitzers of tech, the KIBA hunters, the computer scav hoarders of interchange. or the wipe day and pre-wipe of Tarkov. Something to do with specific map mainers i.e Labs main, Interchange, Health resort runners, Rogue farmers etc. jusst a thought for future vids :)
A sub-faction of the "Theme" organism is the LaRP breed. This breed will base their gear and weapon on a real-life kit. Such as a BEAR PMC using only Ratnik gear with an un-modified AK-74M equipped with a Iskra Lunchbox and apple Juice.
leviticus you should do a video with Brandon Herrera better known as the AK GUY and either do a video on guns at a range/residence or a video on Tarkov such as a stream, I think that would be a amazing video for the both of you and your channels. Another idea of mine would be to do a video with General Sam the famous Tarkov streamer and youtuber, that would a video for the history books of Tarkov content. The third idea is simuliar to the first one but you do a video with youtubers in Brandon Herrera's group of friends/ fellow gun youtubers.
Every gun is a tool with a different purpose, some similar but always proficient at their own thing, modifying a weapon is often done to improve said purpose or even create a whole new purpose. Like turning a glock from a secondary reserve weapon to a reliable PDW, changing it's purpose and use entirely. It's really awesome what you can make work with some creativity and knowledge of how your weapon system works.
The aesthetic makes all the difference sometimes. That basic ak was sexy yet functional. The scar was sexy and gave me cod vibes while still being usable.
