Like you mentioned at 9:40, it’s going to be extremely hard to make this symmetrical on both sides. I recommend you 3D scanning the vehicle, there’s many services that can come out and do this for you. Hire an engineer to model up your design, should be very straight forward being that your design is “complete” with your tape design. Then you can create 3D molds and mirror the molds to make a perfectly symmetrical quarter panel. The molds can be foam and cut very easily and fast in a large cnc that is made for this type of work. Better to do this then all by hand, may cost a little more but will be perfect and turn out better than the hand cut metal rod XYZ point in space approach.
I agree, this would speed it up, but honestly even with the renders, it’s different on paper, or in this case, on screen than in real life. He’s kinda tackling the “render” in real- time. Rather than submitting a render, waiting for the render to be made, making it in real life, then deciding it’s not “it.” I gotta give it to him, he’s creative for sure.
Agreed. Super cheap and readily available nowadays too to do this. This needs to be the path forward. Additionally - once the 3D model is done, you can CNC a foam mold of the part and then cast it in fiberglass. Would be the best option imo.

I appreciate and love to see all the effort and manual work, but I really think sketching this out on paper or digitally would save you loads of time when iterating to your final look.

We actually just scrapped the design, we did several modifications which set off a chain reaction and it just does not work, we are putting together a completely different look and it’s gona flow beautifully

Эти отверстия уместны на автомобилях с двигателем внутреннего сгорания, чтобы охлаждать его. А здесь они для чего? Буду и дальше следить чем это закончится. Не делай сразу и левую и правую сторону. Сосредоточься на одной стороне. Когда внешний вид тебя будет удовлетворять, то просто нужно будет снять матрицу и потом отзеркалить ее. Удачи!
