I feel like Cadence of Hyrule doesnt count since its a zelda spinoff game, rather than another game referencing zelda (I mean, it also has Hyrule in the title and advertises as a Zelda crossover)
Fair point man. But a lot of Wii U games got special Nintendo exclusive stuff, like Scribblenauts and Tekken, to try to get the edge over the competition, and give perks to the games on their console.

I think the 'familiar pose' reference would work better if the comparison was actually with the pose it's referencing. That 'get item' pose is based on the one from Wind Waker. That Link does the very same thing, from the 540 degree spin to holding up one hand. The jingle in the reference even sounds like it'd fit right into Wind Waker's audio aesthetic.
