@@m.b4635 Hmmm evolution was not that hard , some parts yes but I did pass it 3-4 times and in most the hard parts there some tactics that can help a lots or even circumvent the difficulty.
The first Turok was the best. N64 was so far ahead of its time and still holds some of the greatest games of all time. You had many weapons to choose from in the first Turok game, cool designs for the weapons and the game was actually about hunting dinosaurs when the others weren't.
2nd had better level design, more enemies and much better weapons. 3rd was technically impressive. The first if anything had a cool soundtrack, quite tribal and ancient
Turok 2008 needs a remaster with a bigger and better story. Just needs a few little touches to make it even better. It’s the only game I go back to every once and again. Truly a great time!
Turok, Turok 2 and Rage Wars, I played them to death. But seriously, people are sleeping on the Game Boy game. The first one is really good, and the soundtracks of all of them is absolute Godtier for the little system.
The only one i actually remember was the Turok 2008 version and honestly if i put all the games i've ever played in my life into a tier list this would be in top S tier
I played Turok back in 1997, when I was 11. The game represented a big change for me. I came from playing Mario, Sonic, Metroid, Castlevania and so many other perfect 2d games, but when the game started, I got fully amazed by the 3d, the weapons, the animations and the environments. I will never forget and will always respect The Dinosaur Hunter.
The 2008 Turok was the best compared to the mixed reception of Turok Evolution, both were very exciting sci-fi shooter dino games, it's a shame that none of them got a sequel.
I remember renting Turok: Dinosaur Hunter from a Kroger with my brother when I was like 8 or 9. Blew my mind. So many cool guns and ways to blow shit up.
I have been wanting to play Turok Dinosaur hunter again as i played it alot as a kid on the N64 but never passed level three because we didnt have a rumble pack, now that i can get it on nintendo switch actually can play it again! I've been wanting to buy a switch lately and this gave me the perfect excuse to do it!
Why did you need a rumble Pak? I remember watching my uncles beat it but I don't remember if they had a rumble pak. I was too young and stupid to beat the longhunter and remember watching my one uncle just knife the jeeps and was like whaaaat?!?!
They need to remaster the third game and evolution I just beat turok 1 & 2 remastered on console I would recommend anyone who hasn’t played them yet such a good classic series and nostalgia
The 2 I played most was Turok 1 on 64, then emulation on PC and then recently the remaster on PC and the 2nd is Evolution on Game Cube and then as emulation on PC, tested Evolution in stereoscopic 3D with my pc and 3D projector and even my powerfull smartphone can run evolution at 60hz. Played some turok 2, rage war and turok 3 but never passed them. I own them all in their original format, the 4 n64 cartridge and the disc for Game Gube. I'm trying now to pass Turok 2 now on pc remaster...
Man just imagine if Turok 2 or 1 Heck even rage wars and 3 (just all of em at this point) was made in unreal engine or something. THAT SHI WOULD BE LIT BRUH!!!!!
I only beat the remaster of the first game on PC but i can't beat second one, because at some point it just starting to drop FPS constantly with no reason to like 5 FPS. I have no idea what's the problem. Also i was trying to play Turok Evolution on PC and... the PC port is so bad that it is impossible to play because there is a lots of bugs and controls are messed up.
Try playing Turok: Evolution on the Gamecube, it's the most stable version and the best experience you will have if you want to try that game, it also looks equal, if not better than the original Xbox version.
@@brucefly3612 Actually, the XBOX version is the most complete version of Turok Evolution and has all of the content. I am pretty sure it has faster loading times too. lol
back when turok was new on the 64 it would make my eyes water with the more powerful weapons I felt like the one punch man meme " okay" long before that meme
I bought my cousins Xbox and he had Turok. At the time i was playing Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank and Need for Speed. The cover had a Dinosaur on it and i thought "Cool, so its like Jurassic Park or something" About an hour into it I remember thinking "What the FUCK is going on!?!"

It seems like it doesn't have any real identity other than dinosaurs, cyborgs and aliens. Some saint's row/duke nukem' type of crap. Honestly just needs to pick something to focus on, preferably dinosaurs, and grow from there.
the only turok titel that isn´t turok is the turok of 2008. a bad joke of the original story. it isn´t part of the story or a spin of. Its only a copy of the name.
Loved Turok 1 and 2. I've just recently started Turok 3 and to be honest.. it's pretty mid. Honestly I think Evolution was more fun. 2008 is hot garbage easily the worst in the series
