Evolve Bamboo Series 2 GTR Electric Skateboard review

Just got one last week. Clocked 100km already, much of it off road and it's really enjoyable. I came to it from a Boosted v2 so it's a huge upgrade and I'm really enjoying it. Went out to buy a Hadean but then figured I'd save the $400 because I don't need the speed. Battery isn't quite what I expected but I've been mostly off road so i I'm interested to see how it lasts on street.

Great video 👍 I'd like to see GTR Bamboo Series 2 VS Hadean Bamboo. If you can compare those two in every aspect. Especially deck differences hight clerance, carving abilities, stiffness, prons and cons practicality and atc. I'd like to see both boards on AT 7" tyres. If you can make it happen that would be great 👍🙂

I love my GTR as it is but this is a great upgrade. The elephant in the room would be that all other companies have moved on to at least 12S. I do not however need more range nor power.

Great video , I just purchased a new series 2 bamboo gtr , I decided to put a set of madweelz 105's with a keagle pully set up and one of the motors stopped spinning I put about a 1/4 kilometer on the ATs before I changed the wheel size ,am I doing something wrong ? BTW I have a meepo hurricane and a meepo v4 .not my first board dont understand it. If u got any suggestions let me know

Is there an advantage to the extra bolt holes where the trucks bolt on? Does lengthening it change the ride feel?

Mine snapped on a small bump after no More than 12 miles, evolve have taken it in and are replacing it. I hope I was just unlucky. My first time with evolve. Love the board but haven’t even had it in GTR mode yet. Looking forward to getting it back and testing it properly. Haven’t calved it hard in the slightest so think I had a duff

It´s funny to read people trashing Evolve left and right when Evolve is the only company out there that has got the REMOTE right. The amount of FUN a good remote adds to an eboard is inarguable. Yeah I get some boards are like 10-20% faster off the line then the Hadean, go 60-90kmh and so on.. but jesus christ, just get a motorcycle if you love doing those speeds and keep it off walkways. You slip at 60kmh into a car, you ded not injured. Anyways the Series 2 is a great replacement for the GTR as the GTR had major motor reliability issues, now it has more torque and a bit better battery with an updated remote, the GTR s2 is a solid buy.. but if you already owned a GTR then there is literally no reason to get a cheaper GTR s2 then Hadean which is just about 400-500EUR more expensive but has a lot? more acceleration and like almost twice the range?! Great review, wanted to know is the acceleration as good as on the Hadean, seems both acceleration and range are lower, range especially. Maybe you can make a side by side graph of the GTR, GTR s2 and Hadean off the line with same rider. Only thing id ask would be Evolve changing the compound of the Bamboo deck as Ive snapped two GTR Bamboo decks from the back coming off a small curb, like a deck per year. Seems they get brittle in dry storage over winter time.

You should compare this board to the tynee explorer. This board is a rip off. You can get Hayden performance from other boards for way cheaper…
