Your sub cities only join your march if soloing monsters. You should be rallying monsters so your alliance can join and get the benefits helping everyone grow. If they send Sanada and Hernando Cortes the debuffs stack helping you kill larger monsters.
I heard it suggested to max Sanada's first specialty which gives you -15 monster attack, I already have Aethelflaed and her first specialty is already maxed -15% monster attack so I tested her on a sub and the results are identical to having Sanada with no specialty. So it appears the gain will be minimal.

thanks for the information however i see you have (1) Mounted Troop Attack (2) Mounted Troop Speed (3) March Size- skill books on Roland. Should i change Mounted troop speed for Mounted troop HP ?? i want to use Roland for PVP and Bosses Rally.
No friend, don't change speed skill book. you can use different assistant general with Roland for monster killing and PVP and put specific skill book on those general.
Hi btechbbagamer/reader 1. Can I put all Sanada in the Sub, instead of 1 general and the rest Sanada? 2. I tested my setting to successfully kill hell Viking lv36 (399m) solo, but, with the same setting, I couldn't kill Jormungandr (394m) with rally. Is that because like the previous ready claimed, the sub is not helping while doing rally? 3. On second test, most of the leechers used Sanada to help, but I still couldn't kill that beast, what could be the reason? 4. If I mount 2 solo at same time, do I still get the sub to support both the kills? Thanks
Sanada and monster debuff gear on all the subcity will help out in solo, subcity can't be attached in rally. Debuff on rally from joiner you need to test how much it stack or only highest debuff from one of the joiner only counted.
If buffs do not work through the sub city then I guess , we should also not be putting any skillbook or worrying about "what skill books to put?"... I mean we don't need them... Correct or not?

How many level 8-9 mounted troops do I need to kill a regular 33 Inferno Monster? My General is at 20, and my Keep Level is 23. I have 106,000 max troops I can send out.
I tried to kill a Level 7 Yasha with 118,000 troops mounted/ground/siege weapons, everything I had and I lost. My General is at 17, Monarch 20, 3.2 million power? Internet says 27,000 mounted with wounded, 50,000 no wounded for a win. Seems like I should have won that?
I have all 8 epic Subs with Yuk with 4 dragon gear so the -10 for all subs. I then use Yuk and Cortez and with all that and 3,000,000 T14 I can’t beat a level 15
Bro, with 3M T14 cavs and debuff from 8 subcity(Sanada and dragon gear). There shouldn't be any monster in game that you can't kill except B19. You might be making some mistakes, what are the buffs of your cavs march? Increase as much as you can. Main and assistant general use those who are giving big cavs buffs instead of using debuff, refine gear for mounted buff, skillbook, research for mounted buff etc.
If you are going to gear Sanada's for sub generals for your sub cities your best bet is to use sub city books to get the most out of them while they are appointed to them.
