I sometimes use Catherine II as a BoA Savings & Loan. Her specialties suck, so I never bother with them. I like her at 4 or maybe 5 stars, but I feel like 4 is her sweet spot. If I have her at 5, and ToK is going on and I need to rank higher, or more importantly to me, I'm desperate for 24 hour speed ups, I might cannibalize her, reassemble her, use books to get her back to 22, get her 5 gold stars, and then ascend her back to 4 stars. Now, net, I've lost BoA (assuming I've already redeemed the 1,000 for the event). But I've also raised my score by 3300 and gotten 3300 24-hour speed ups. When you account for placing higher in the event, and for the fact that even though I'm losing BoA, I have more BoA currently available, it's sometimes worth it to me.
It works up to 4k blood of ares for the max 1k consuming reward. If everyone does it then I wouldn't count on the ranking bonus. On my server the 20th place score is 12k already. Now that you made a video and this got more popular I wouldnt doubt the score would only go up.
Here's the checklist to have before trying this. 2 copies or 60 fragments of chosen general. 10k gems per perfect dismissal. X 7 30 million gold per 5* of the general x 7. 3260 medals to raise said general to 5*. X 7 Each time the general needs to be atleast lvl22. So general exp books. Or do this while general leveling on a gold sub. Doing it 6 times leaves ya short the 4k total points. 7 times puts you over some points. It's not bad. Just if you are f2p, you'd have to make sure you understand the prerequisite to accomplish this. Some may not be years deep in this toxic relationship, that is, Evony. 😂

Totally agree why is Genghis brining this up it's literally almost 2 years old news 🤔🤦there's 2 new cheap pop up packs one will give you a "chance" @pulling a duty officer gear as you mentioned for refining a lot or crafting new gears . The other one I popped yesterday before BOC called epic governance merit package will give you a chance to get a primo duty gen box or an epic gen token. Surprise I didn't win crap but the cheap gen token frags that you need 30 for a regular epic gen token. I think might be best to save the boxes up try to open them in bunches
If you're just doing it for blood of ares, the best combo to use would be 2- 2 star general and 2- 1 star generals for a net +199. Cheapest combo is 1- 4 star for +166 and 1-1 star for +31 total of 197.
OK I did simple calculation to determine the maximum benefit of this method, and the best situation is to ascend 2 generals to 7stars + 2 generals to 6stars and dismiss them. that can get you 200+ bloods and 3980 points. then you can work on your targeted generals to double the score
no. if gonna ascend a general need to subtract the BoA that will use on it from 4000. and only use this trick for the remain. exemple.. if gonna use 1370 to give a general 2 stars.... 4000 - 1370 = 2630
If you use the 1000 blood of ares up. Then this does not apply. Dismissed a full seige gen i had in the senate. Re built him. Lost little less than 500 blood of ares. So if you plan on using this method. Must factor that in
it's like @zandykehnz said. It only works up to 4000 where you get the max redeemable 1000 ares. Above 4000 it's not worth it and you get more ares in the first scenario where you don't discard general. Also like @craenor said some people may prefer to lose some ares but redeem some other rewards like speeds. It's about personal preference.
Still garbage 🗑. Don't want to dismiss anyone. What you want to do is only ascend generals you want ascended without dismissing anyone. Save everything until you know you will win the event without dismissing anyone. Patience pays.
