what in the heck is happening with synthetic fuel, its the obvious solution to the problem that they said exists and the fact governments only push evs as the only way is a major red flag
@@ArmySigs like EV the infrastructure?, total myth man i doubt its hard to make its in the name hydro carbon look into how bosch makes it dont know how its so hard.
EVs are being banned from apartment car parks & enclosed or multilevel car parks due to fire risk. Also owners are discovering apartment electrical systems are not able to charge multiple cars at once without collapsing.
Most people only keep their cars on average like 5 years or something. So to the vast majority they don't care much about battery replacement because they won't have the car long enough to deal with it.
Autonomous cars have gone pretty quiet lately, a work mate purchased a second hand Tesla with 80ks on the clock for $65k, it’s possible the batteries could die within 4 years and’s it’s worthless. EVs sales are tanking in the US, hybrids seem a better proposition as boring as they are.
At least the Italian sounds halfway decent... the Hyundai has the C64 fans down pat. 3:08 I can tell you a Tesla Model S can do 4...ish laps of the Nürburgring if you're not pushing it (if you push it overheats the battery at the end of the first lap). Soo 500k on Bathurst... that's about 5-6 car changes for each team for each race.
The lack of noise is one thing, but a big thing that puts me off is that most EV's either look like shitty blobs or bloated whale SUV things. Make an EV that doesn't look like shit and that'll be a start.
I’m really really looking forward to electric cars sounding like my old scalelectric cars along with sparks and the burning smell when they get hot Or if you had a make that knew how to modify the motor (rewind it and lighten the rotor) so the sun faster and blew up in a ball of flames 🔥 Hehehe😂 Of the child hood memory’s of scalelectric and the slot car shop Or the same sound mums sunbeam mixer made just before it went Bang ❗️ Hahaha Thanks for the episode
Hydrogen reacting with Oxygen results in water, However, air isnt pure Oxygen, its a mixture of gases, and the most abundant gas in air is nitrogen. Therefore, the combustion of hydrogen in air produces oxides of nitrogen, known as NOx. In this respect, the combustion process is much like other high temperature combustion fuels, such as kerosene, gasoline, diesel or natural gas. This problem is exascerbated by the very high temperatures generated by the combustion of hydrogen. As such hydrogen combustion engines are not considered zero emission.
I went to the Tokyo Mobility Show in October and saw the Nissan concept which I took video of on my phone. The Nissan looks ok from the firewall back but what about The Subaru Air Mobility Concept also Yamaha had a three wheeled concept much like a Morgan also Honda had a Prelude as well.
They need to just put straight cut gears in them. Other than the noise issue and the 10 min quicker refuelling EVs are better in almost every other way
Just what i thought about the "racing version" of the porsche taycan. Why would you make a fake sound sound more racy when it still doesn't matter and/or makes any differences? Embarrasing
I pulled up the other day(week)to me local ev servo, that has been gathering dust more than nans cottons,in coolangatta..pulled up and my cammed ve and proceeded to pretend to fuel me n/a donk with electrical particles.,no shit.funniest shit ever.might do it tomorrow
Buying an EV is for people who want to be seen as those that are saving the planet, but they aren't saving anything... Consumerism is destroying the world, in whatever form it takes... Anyway, synthetic fuels are a far better option and maybe if people really cared they'd stop this cycle of buying a brand new car every couple of years- even IF they get a good deal from the ATO as encouragement
Yeah the Dodge Charger EV with its wind instrument style of sound generator made me lose faith in humanity. Some oboe/clarinet/tuba hybrid dying cow sounds from the company that gave us the Hemi 🤦🏼♂️ Porsche and it’s synthetic fuel development is the answer for this whole ridiculous joke. They stated that they will always race sports cars like they always have and then went and invested in developing a synthetic fuel with next to no emissions. Can’t wait to hear more coz not trading in my Hiroshima Screamer for an Duracell dunga!
It's possible (quite easy, actually) to take the recorded exhaust sound of a car that sounds incredible, and have a sound device modulate that sound to represent different throttle openings and loads, and play that so it sounded like the EV was actually one of these: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9IrBTtbCAB4.html
Can anyone tell me why they have to make all ev cars so bloody ugly. I would be more likely to buy one if they didn't look like something designed by a child for a Mad Max remake
Very funny as always. I’ll just stick with my real sounding ICE vehicle. 😂 As for the vegan thing, it’s easy to understand once your told. My misses is vegan. Most vegans were once meat eaters, majority. It’s not that they don’t like the taste of meat, it’s to have an easy transition or something similar, without killing an animal. Simple. The speakers however, is a filthy lie and is the gayest thing I’ve ever seen.
Everyone needs to chill. This the exact same thing as putting s muffler on a loud car. Just the other way around. Who gives a fuck what someone else's car does, grow up😅
