How is it you're supposedly calling to Islam when you're calling a kaafira a feminist & Muslima at the same time, it shows you really don't understand the basics of the shahadah or Eemaan.

True. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (Allah her pleased with him) reported that at the Battle of Hanain Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) sent an army to Autas and encountered the enemy and fought with them. Having overcome them and taken them captives, the Companions of Allah's Messenger (may peace te upon him) seemed to refrain from having intercourse with captive women because of their husbands being polytheists. Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that: " And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)" (i. e. they were lawful for them when their 'Idda period came to an end). Sahih Muslim 1456a Salama bin Al-Akwa` said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)'s said, "If a man and a woman agree (to marry temporarily), their marriage should last for three nights, and if they like to continue, they can do so; and if they want to separate, they can do so." I do not know whether that was only for us or for all the people in general. Abu `Abdullah (Al-Bukhari) said: `Ali made it clear that the Prophet said, "The Mut'a marriage has been cancelled (made unlawful). Sahih al-Bukhari 5119 Narrated `Aisha: I asked the Prophet, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Should the women be asked for their consent to their marriage?" He said, "Yes." I said, "A virgin, if asked, feels shy and keeps quiet." He said, "Her silence means her consent." Sahih al-Bukhari 6946

The clip shown was a documentary about the Nikkah ( and consequently other religious forms of marriage) not being legally recognised by UK law. It seems like some women were being taken advantage of regarding this issue. They had assumed that UK law recognised Nikkah as being legally married and once things had gone downhill, they had come to know that it was not. I remember watching it. There was media attention to call for recognising religious forms of marriage by UK law. A famous example of this was the Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall marriage- i think they got married abroad, it was either a Buddhist or Hindu ceremony. When they split, there was a question as to the validity of their marriage because of the religious marriage ceremony. So, this is what is being discussed in the documentary with that clip. It was quite a few years ago.

Register your nikkah certificate, also ensure you get an islamic Will so that if you and your wife die, the UK will follow Islamic laws when giving inheritance to your kids. also sign an islamic prenup, so that the UK court and police follow the Islamic concept of Nikah ( Mehr, Wife keeps her money and earnings, child custody for you and your money etc.) instead of the Christian Marriage that the UK court uses (All your properties are treated as shared... as "ONE Flesh") this is important. or else the UK court will NOT follow Shariah when dealing with your marriage and kids.

She has betrayed the believers. That's why quality is better than quantity. Educating Muslims upon proper Islam, Eemaan and loyalty to Allah ﷻ, His Messenger ﷺ and the believers. Otherwise they will slide back on their heels.
@Ibn_Abdulaziz
@Ibn_Abdulaziz Месяц назад
Read Surah Al-Ahzaab. The truthful ones vs the traitors. When the believers are besieged by the disbelievers, Allah ﷻ reveals Ayat giving women who prefer this dunya over Akhirah a way out from marriage to the believers. The Prophet's ﷺ wives all chose Allah ﷻ, His Messenger ﷺ and the Home of Hereafter, and that choice given to them, was not counted as a Talaaq (divorce). This is what happens to many women, they betray if dunya don't go their way. And dunya becomes constricted when Al-Ahzaab (the confederates, nato) is gathered by the juice to test you just like the Sahaba رضي الله عنهم were tested during Al-Khandaq. Our Fitnah (trial) is similar, but less intense of course. So don't grieve, Allah ﷻ is purifying the camp of Eemaan until the Dajjaal comes. Because those who will stand up to him will be the best of believers whom Jesus the son of Mary عليه السلام descends upon, wiping their faces and giving them glad tidings of high ranks in Jannah from Allah ﷻ for having persevered. Thus Allah ﷻ will not leave us like this, until the camp of Eemaan is purified and free from nifaaq.
@Ibn_Abdulaziz
@Ibn_Abdulaziz Месяц назад
Also when Dajjal stands outside Madinah on Yawm Al-Khalaas (Day of Purification) which is the day Madinah is purified from disbelievers and hypocrites, that day many women will go out to him. You are witnessing the precursor of it. Seeing people risking their lives and kid's lives over ocean's to go to disbelievers for dunya or women like these. Imagine when the Dajjal appears? And those who cling on living with disbelievers, fighting for their worldly belongings, joining their democracy etc will lag behind. Stick to the Salafis, the people of Sunnah. So do not grieve, just like the Prophet ﷺ said during Tabuk whenever a person lagged behind, on being informed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say: "Leave him alone. If there be any good in him, Allah will again join him with you, and if there be no good in him, then thank Allah that He relieved you of his evil company." [Sealed Nectar] Allah سبحانه وتعالى said, (Interpretation of the meaning) Had they marched out with you, they would have added to you nothing except disorder, and they would have hurried about in your midst (spreading corruption) and sowing sedition among you - and there are some among you who would have listened to them. And Allah is the All-Knower of the wrong-doers. [At-Taubah 9:47] Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now, until He distinguishes the Khabeeth (wicked) from the Tayyib (good). Nor will Allah disclose to you the secrets of the Ghaib (unseen), but Allah chooses of His Messengers whom He wills. So believe in Allah and His Messengers. And if you believe and have Taqwa of Allah, then for you there is a great reward. [Ãal-'Imraan 3:179]

To increase their revenue, they have created a show where they invite men and women (not properly dressed) to talk about sexual intercourse (despite hundreds of commenters telling them this type of free mixing and sex content is not Islamic). Ali Dawah then released a video claiming he had taken permission from 2 prominent scholars and claimed they had approved his show by showing viewers a doctored chat between him and the 2 scholars - the scholars never released videos publicly supporting his claims. But hey, let's throw all that in the bin & discredit her because you don't know her.... She may have some controversial views that struggle to balance conservative Islam with modern Liberalism, but she's done a lot for Islam and while I agree with having conversation around some of her views. All jumping in on her for them and many bashing reverts as a whole while they’re at it is certainly not the course of action I would take. Many even going as far to call her a 'Plant’ by CIA after literal decades of her good works just because she’s white and blonde. Speaking of controversial views, lets not pretend Ali Dawah or others in the scene are not seen controversially even within Muslim and conservatism Muslim circles alike, let alone wider audiences. You don’t have to look far to see the criticism of giving dawah to uncovered women and free mixing on his shows… Everyone is going to disagree with something, so we best maintain consistency and integrity in our approaches. Starting off with “EX HIJABI” “GOES WILD” this is the Muslim Edition of the Daily Mail….. Lastly, by your emoji you’re living in France as a Muslim but not an ethnically French Muslim. AliNeedsDawah this is not right. What she said was wrong but the documentary was about something else. It is a real problem that SOME men abuse the fact that the Nikkah is not legally recognised in the law of the land. Yes Islam gives women rights but in non Muslim lands these rights cannot be enforced by the law. So she is not trying to change Islam, she is (badly) trying to make the point that women are unprotected by the law (in non Muslim lands) against men who abuse the Islamic Nikkah. Addressing your opening comments the brother needs to have someone managing his social media accounts to stop this happening again as he said social media is a fitna for him - he should get married ASAP and announce it - his new wife could manage his social media - if he wishes to protect himself there are many sisters in the East and West who need to be married. Two things we learn from this is that sisters need to not put themselves out there and brothers whether "dawah bros" or not should never DM a sister to ask for advice. My previous post broke down exactly what he said - bro you know the game you know how men play - men will ask for the time just to get a number so you know the approach. I hope this type of DMing is not widespread from brothers in the limelight and there aren't other secret marriages knocking about with single mothers. I await the Waleema announcement from the brother.

Yeah I'm surprised at Ali response and while he says the brother made a mistake, he's been very negative towards this sister by saying she manipulated things, which is false. She never said he was talking about her which has been floating around accusing her. I had to rewatch her video, she talks about the single mother he was talking about, but her being a single mother, she generally switchs between talking about single mother as a whole since she is one. While she mentioned he said temparay marriage, which he didn't but it sure as hell sound like one. He mention 3 times in the voice note he wanted to keep her a secret from his family, even when he finds his virgin wife, the virgin wife will be with the family and single mother still a secret. He tried so hard having to take little responsibilities/duties as a husband/father, by saying he can support her, but casually drop that single mothers are loaded, so can support themselves too and said she would have less expectation of him, because she has a kid. He never said he wanted to have more kids with her or start a genuine family, but the opposite. He never mentioned the kid either, just that the sinlge mother would be busy with the kid etc nothing for him to do. He made sure to mention how he wanted to protect himself and the single mother from zina LOL He constantly talk about sexual desire and urges he's battling, even said the main thing for this arrangement is to protect himself from Zina LOL So to sum it up, keep her a secret, part time husband/father, no family, since she's a secret little to no activities with her and the child, neglect the child, but hey he gets to smash at least. How can anyone hear this and act like he was serious about this relationship boogles my mind. He simply tried offering a Halal Friends with Benefits.

Mohamed Hijab and Ali Dawah are frauds... nikah is not a religious festival. nikah is the public announcement and witnessing by witnesses that two people are getting together, so if they separate, the rights of the woman and of the children is preserved. If you live in a country where the "marriage celebration" does not result in the preservation of the rights of the children and the woman when divorce occurs, then it is not nikah. nikah MUST equal preservation of the rights of children and woman when separation occurs. In the West, the ceremony Muslims perform to join 2 people together does not result in documents the woman or children can use to obtain the Islamic rights God decreed from the father/husband. If UK laws do not give men and women and children the rights God decreed at the end of a marriage, then that also is not proper nikah. In such countries, the only proper nikah is a pre-nuptial agreement to be drafted by a lawyer before the ceremony in which the rights God decreed to each party are written down and both sign it - e.g. how much money the man must pay each month for his children, the number of times a week a man gets to see his children, etc. The nikah ceremony by itself is not an Islamic marriage unless it is coupled with a legal means to preserve the rights of the children and women. Those saying so (like Ali Dawah and Mohamad Hijab) are interested in upholding the appearance of Islam and not the core of Islam. The core of Islam... the reason why God decreed nikah is to preserve the rights of the, woman, and children (and also the man) after separation - not to have a joyous celebration and go home. Mohamad Hijab and Ali Dawah are profiteers. They collect zakat money on behalf of charity organizations and get a percentage (kickback) from the charity organizations without disclosing to the people that they are taking part of the money they collect. . Hijab and Dawah trying to smear women who point out that there is a problem in the way Muslims perform marriage is an attempt by them to profit financially from controversial issues.

The problem is that the ummah has no regulation powers in foreign states, so the Nikkah cannot be enforced as it would be under Muslim rule... as such the Masjid must adapt and link up with the state to be able to use their courts and police to enforce Islamic Law. i.e. the Masjid should register to be able to legally marry people, and have that contract signed during the Nikkah. and also a prenup to ensure Islamic laws of inheritance are followed incase of divorce and also a legally binding will to ensure Islamic Inheritance. this is what happens in India. So I don't think the Nikah Documentary is that wrong... we should come together as a single Ummah. Legal marriage ( the contract ) is not valid under the eyes of Allah, so it cannot be a replacement, BUT we do need to use these govt. mechanisms to be ensure Islamic Shariah is followed when the state doesn't do so by default.

@@hypeszskii7516 It can matter incase of divorce or even on taxes... since if your nikah is not registered, the state will treat you as unmarried. if it is simply registered, it will be registered as a christian marriage, and all your property will be shared. even if unmarried, if the state deems you to be cohabitating, it will call it a "civil union" and treat it like a christian marriage. This is why, it is best to do things legally and above board. 1) Register your nikah marriage, so that the state know that you are married. 2) Sign a prenup so that the marriage is NOT treated like a christian marriage and you are granted your Islamic rights to mehr etc.anf your husband is granted his islamic rights. this also ensures that it can be dissolved like a nikah without 50% property split etc. and messy child support 3) Sign a WILL, so when you die, the court uses the sharia rules to dissiminate inheritance. it is important to avoid trouble and get tax benefits if any and also to avoid unism=lamic things by making the Secular UK court enforce the Shariah rules on you both. Without it, either party can simply dip, and swindle the other, with 0 recourse. eyoung's argument is dumb and who cares about showing contempt to the state. My concern is that there is no Police to enforce the Shariah, and this allows many people to fall through the cracks and hampers islamic living. If the courts in the UK do not automatically recognize the nikah like in Asian muslim countries and apply Christian views on marriage by default. like in the US, we need to use secular tools to ensure no un-islamic thing happens, by making the state enforce the rules of Shariah. i would suggest to go meet a lawyer with your husband, sign a prenup to get your money matters sorted, so tax wise there is no issue and that your earnings and belongings are kept segregated. also sign an islamic will, and register your marriage with the state, along with the prenup. so that both of you and the state, all three of you are bound by Allah's shariah, so that none can transgress the other. Husband cannot dump and cheat the wife. Wife cannot Dump/Sue the Husband State cannot deprive you of tax cuts and also unislamically take and distribute your assets.

But I can't understand why you decided to show that clip from her documentary. She did not say all nikkah marriages are invalid or inferior. The reality is that some (if not "a high proportion") are not legally recognised in the UK, meaning the rights are not enforceable in the UK unless by mutually agreed arbitration or mediation. This is a concern. You might disagree with her claim that it's a high proportion of marriages, if so you can debate the figures but you can't deny this issue is a potential concern. Your claims weren’t backed up by this video unless it was that tweet. Will you retract and redo this video?

Let me ask you this Ali, it is a genuine question. In an Islamic country the nikah is recognized and if the marriage doesn't work, the man has to provide for his children and that can be enforced through the law of the land. But in say UK the nikah contract is not recognized so the man bears no responsibility, and can just abandon his children with no accountability. I think that's what she is saying, and she has a point. What do we do with men who don't provide for their children after a divorce? No way to force them to pay if the marriage isn't even recognized by the country.
@runescapes
@runescapes Месяц назад
ncorrect: The statement suggests that men have no responsibility for their children if the nikah is not recognized. This is false: ▪ In the UK, parental responsibility is not solely based on marital status. ▪ Biological fathers are legally obligated to support their children, regardless of their marital status or the type of ceremony used. ▪ The Child Maintenance Service can enforce child support payments. 5. Enforcement of child support: Incorrect: The implication that there's "no way to force them to pay" is false. The UK has systems in place to enforce child support payments, including: ▪ Deductions from wages ▪ Deductions from benefits ▪ Court orders ▪ In extreme cases, imprisonment for non-payment In conclusion, while there are challenges in enforcing child support in any country, the UK does have legal mechanisms to ensure parental responsibility and child support, regardless of the type of marriage ceremony or its recognition status. The main issue is not the lack of legal framework, but rather the practical challenges of enforcement, which can occur in any legal system, Islamic or otherwise.

Islamic nikah is the legitimate mechanism, however, if it's not legally recognised, then we need to have accountability mechanism in place, so the rights and responsibilities of all parties in accordance with the shariah are upheld. We can't have Islamic rights with a secular level of obligations, nor can we have secular rights with Islamic obligations. One gives women avenues of abusing the system, and the other gives men avenues of abusing the system. We need Islamic rights, with Islamic obligations.

I think quite alot of Muslims commenting here, are not understanding what she's trying to say. So let me clarify. If you do a nikah inside a western country (be it the UK, france, Etc) those countries do not recognize that marriage. Yes, islamically, you are married. But as far as those countries are concerned, legally you are not married because a nikah holds no value in those countries. This means, that should that marriage end islamically, since the legal system didnt recognize that marriage in the 1st place, the wife or husband cant settle this affair legally in courts such as ownership of kids, maintenance, etc. Many divorced wives suffer as a result. In fact, quite a lot of men only do a nikah in a western country and when that marriage breaks up, he claims he owes her nothing as the ex-husband knows she cant use the legal system to get her rights. This is wrong too. This is the reason why a good mosque, when doing a nikah, also follows up that marriage with registering that marriage in the western country, using that countries legal system. So, you are married islamically, and that marriage is registered in the law of the land NOTE, this issue is ONLY when you do a nikah inside a western country. If you do a nikah in an islamic country and then bring your wife or husband over into your western country, then that country accepts the nikah you did oversees. This is what the sister is warning about. A nikah without following it up with a registration of that country, is like not being married at all in the eyes of that country.

Not understanding the full context of everything else that has happened outside of that clip, I’m not into western feminism or their ideologies. But what the sister said (she is still a sister in deen), was that Islamic nikah is not recognized by the western courts. Unfortunately. This is the case bc of the courts and law. Not bc of Islam. And not bc of ‘f’ boys..or something. It is a flaw our community is plagued by. And if you’re not, then Alhmdulilah. But I’m having trouble understanding what she said/that was so wrong? Again, not understanding the context. And going based off just the clip. If our community has an issue that needs to be addressed, we shouldn’t chastise the fellow brother/sister seeking to addressing it, and then wait for a kafir to do it on our behalf.

Sorry but like in Muslim country nikkah is protected by sharia! In West who makes sure??? I think it's good to point out. Too many predators who don't fear Allah in non Muslim lands. So it's only. Fair that man should get some form of accountability

She's a kaafira, not a Muslima, stop mincing words like a simp & pandering to these enemies of Islam, Ali one cannot be a feminist & Muslima at that the same time, feminism is outright kufr, Eemaan & kufr can NEVER mix together in one heart, wake up! How is it you're supposedly calling to Islam when you're calling a kaafira a feminist & Muslima at the same time, it shows you really don't understand the basics of the shahadah or Eemaan.

Response to Ali Dawah... people don't like how you incorrectly profit from dawah (sell products and take kickbacks from the money you collect for charity organizations)... and they don't like how you produced a show that had improperly dressed women who discussed private matters about their sexual intercourse with men. Ali Dawah and Mohamed Hijab are not pious human beings... they are Muslim "televangelists", selling products (Ali Dawah sells magic oil that enhances sexual power) and getting kickbacks from charity they collect or from courses they promote. Ali Dawah is driving a Mercedes. He refuses to subject his charity work to auditing. You have not explained how what Myriam has done contradicts Islam. Saying women need legal documents to prove they are married is not a crime in Islam... but I have seen her defend the people in Gaza one thousand times more than Hijab and Dawah who are too busy selling baraka oil and taking kickbacks from charity organizations and promoting courses and producing morally questionable content for revenue.

SubhanAllah. I’m a trauma coach for Muslim women and one of the first things I teach the beautiful ladies I work with is if we are not rooting our healing in our relationship with Allah and His pleasure, then what are we even doing? What’s the point of healing if we sacrifice our akhira for it? Whether it’s healing from interpersonal trauma, betrayal from another Muslim, etc, we’re Muslims and Allah will ask us what we did and said. Your trauma never gives you an excuse to cause harm… period. If you think it does, you need healing. I have a channel on these topics. We can discuss how something has social consequences but we don’t do it at the expense of our faith tradition, our values and beliefs. It’s embarrassing. It’s very much neocolonialism.

Sorry for my english if I made mistakes . She is absolutely correct I live in France and some men here won't register their wedding they will only do a ''religious wedding'' and then they leave their wife with her baby alone so now many french Imams are trying to warn women about that because and they are telling that even in muslim countries only religious weddings don't exist since you have to register it
@thefacultyofthought430
@thefacultyofthought430 Месяц назад
A nikkah or religious marriage means you are married under Islamic law. In Islamic countries if the couple divorce then the Islamic mechanisms and rules are followed to facilitate the divorce. In the West if you register your marriage under the law of that country, for example France, without having a nikkah then your marriage islamicly is invalid. If you do the Nikkah and then register your marriage with the Government that's okay. However, If the marriage is registered under French law for example, and their is a divorce the courts usually favour the women over the man. So she'll get half his income, the house, full custody of the children. This is why a divorce in an Islamic country is way different to that of the West, because the Islamic law for divorce is being followed and is fair to both parties. Because it is statisically shown that in Islamic divorces it is usually the woman who intitates the divorce this would result in the woman getting the house, the money etc etc if it was registered in a Western country.

@@thefacultyofthought430that’s completely true but Islam if perfect while its followers aren’t, all I can say to add to the og commenter’s point is that my mother works with a lot of social agencies in the UK to interpret and what the OP is saying is right, the sheer amount of mothers and wives who were just divorced for no Islamic reason after moving to the UK by their husbands or being beaten or not having their Islamic rights as a wife fulfilled - I really am shocked that this does happen too, not all men are angels and not all women are angels too. In these situations it’s not the “wife gets every benefit for no reason” court case
