I finally got my license at 31 years old! Thank you so much for these videos! You’re the best! I learned so much from this channel! Thank you for helping me!! And everyone else!! 👏🏻👍🏻😄
Here in Romania, we do the driving exam with a policeman as our examiner. Funny thing is that there are only like 4-5 examiners per state (not city, state) so if you pass the written exam, you'd have to wait 5-6 months to take the actual exam. And if you fail that, have fun waiting another 5-6 months again like I did. I began taking driving lessons in January, took the written exam in March, failed my first attempt and the driving exam at the end of June, and finally passed and got my license last week, in November.
I wish I could just imagine that, but don't need to😔 I am hoping for cancelations to get a exam appointment. Other wise there is still nothing even 6 months a head.
I passed my G test earlier this week! Long time coming, thanks for all your videos. Related to this subject, my examiner was in a horrendous mood which was pretty clear the minute he started speaking and it heightened my anxiety by 100x. I agree people are allowed to have bad days and not every examiner will be like this, but being very intentionally rude and speaking rudely to an already nervous new driver is so unnecessary. And I'm older (mid 40's) I can imagine a younger person on the receiving end of this. Its demeaning and discouraging. Sadly these people do a disservice to everyone involved. I'm so happy I passed but his entire demeanor really put a damper on the celebration.
Got my Philippine drivers license at age 42. But I didn’t drive after that. I’m now 46 and living here in US. I need to take driving exam again which makes me so nervous that I need to enroll in a driving school next month. I wish my instructor will be someone like you who emphasizes/explains everything clearly and patiently. Thank you for these videos. It’ll help me a lot.
This video made me more confident for my road test tomorrow. Something about you saying that examiners know we’re new drivers and won’t be 100% perfect and that they’re looking for safety, just made me realize that it’s true.
Just want to say found your videos a month ago and Have been watching them like crazy to prepare for my drivers test I unfortunately failed the first time BUT PASSED THE SECOND TIME TODAY!! So just want to say thank you for everything man you made me a better driver !! 🙏🏽
I passed my exam on the 27th of this month😀😀😀. I’m sure you get these comments a lot but thanks for making these vids. I feel they played a big part in my growth as a driver. I’ve only been driving for 2.5 months now so I needed all the help I can get.
You are incredible. Today I passed my Ontario G2 driving test perfectly. No instructor lessons but self taught and experience. But I couldn’t have done it without your amazing videos. Thank thank you so much!
I remember hitting a dip at a left turn on an intersection. I for sure thought I’d fail, but I calmed down right after and made up for it. I said I hit a dip earlier, and he said it was ok since most people trip.
I’m honestly glad I found this channel for driving! Still got my license, but I’m learning as I go on the road from your videos until I could get it right. Thank you for these informative, straight-to-the-point, and fun videos!
Thank you for this video, right when I needed this, I'll be taking my exam next month and I've just been thinking about it lately. Excellent content as always.
What makes your videos special is their grounded character. I guess in may new driver's mind there is fear of not having clear instructions for every situation (impossible!). You are the only one that says 'its OK' to have those thoughts and you present the basic principles and/or some examples from your driving lessons. If only I new your videos when I was taking my license!
i just got my license 2 days ago. i watched all of your videos in your channel and they were really helpful. you showed me some things that my instructor didnt teach me or showed me. Thanks again and keep up the good work. Greetings from Greece.
Going for my driving test in Montreal next week and terribly worried about my parking as it's not perfect. It's reassuring to know that I don't necessarily need to get it in 1 slick move and that the car doesn't need to be 100% straight. Thank you for this video
Watching your videos have truly helped me to better understand driving safety. I don't like it when other channels mock students for their mistakes because it feels discouraging (and I already have bad anxiety). your channel is straight to the point and presents scenarios in a more respectful manner which helps. Thank you for your driving lessons!
I never get to thank you for all the useful tips you’ve shared to new drivers such as me. It’s been three years since I passed my driving test but I can say that I have learned most in your videos. Hope you continue helping new drivers. Godbless!
Great video as always :) I already have a driver license but always learn something new from you. If I may suggest a topic for a future video, it would be great to have a showcase of dangerous/unicorn situations that happened under unusual circumstances (or with multiple/unexpected factors combined) in your personal driving experience or that of other people you know. Situations that could have turned tragic but didn't. We can all learn from that, before we have to experience this ourselves. An example situation I can give is when I had to make a 90 degree left turn in an intersection, and another car stopped to yield right hand priority to me, but they stopped past the crosswalk because they had poor visibility due to cars being parked on the 1st lane on the street I was on (that they were entering). Due to this car stopped past the crosswalk and some pizza cars being parked on the street corner, I could not see two kids who were on the crosswalk behind that car. I only saw them when the nose of my car was on the crosswalk and they were near my side mirror. Fortunately I was able to avoid them, not because of my reflexes but due to pure luck. This was a very unique dangerous situation that cold have turned very differently. Thank God it didn't. Respect and admiration from the other side of the planet ;)
Just wanted to say thank you, thanks to your videos I was able to pass my driving test. But passing doesn't automatically make you an expert driver, there is still so much to learn. So I'll be keeping an eye out for your videos.
Hey Carlos! I've been watching dozens of your videos in preparation for my test in Ottawa, and before I even go on the road. They're uniquely informative and they never waste time. I very specially appreciate your dedication to teaching how to drive openly to everyone, even when learning to drive is a short period in everyones life :) 💜
I really appreciate the work you've put in to your videos. Well explained, very detailed, and I like those little dance between the examiner and the driver at the end.
I watched this video before I took my practical exam. I passed! I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and they have helped! Thank you for your help and tips. God bless you ❤! I’m 34! It’s never too late!
This is a video that everybody should see before the exam! thanks man! now I feel much more confident about the exam I was worried about some nonsense stuff!
I passed my test in first Attempt in the pouring rain after watching your videos today morning. Thank you so much for your content. To all those taking tests all the best you Can do it :)
I passed the test. Watched most of your videos and had an instructor to help me plus my mom, aunt, and uncle occassionally. Took me a month to learn and only 3 small mistakes
Good Day Sir! Today, I passed my Road Test and I am now officially a licenses probationary driver here in Quebec. Thank you for your great videos as well as some funny clips especially regarding people with some in ”ingenious” parking skills. 🤣
Please when will you teach us CURB PARKING without hitting the curb? What would be the possible reference points when you're curb parking? Hoping to hear from you soon. Thank you.
I have lots of them. Just do a search on my channel with the words "parallel parking". I show how to search my channel at the end of this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0vwRMIIG9jM.html
10:09 - this was one of the last places I visited before leaving. I drove down that road in the evening listening to my Filmmaker playlist. I've never even been that far up Mt. Royal, and beyond, before driving (& I lived on the island for almost my whole life). Thanx again, and take good care.
Good Day Sir! Today, I passed my Road Test and I am now officially a licenses probationary driver here in Quebec. Thank you for your great videos as well as some funny clips especially regarding people with some in ”ingenious” parking skills at 2:38 :D
2:35 I totally agree with these facts that parking and reversing skills are important but safety measures are of the highest of all importance. Safety measures are the most critical. It's not likely to consistently do a perfect parking and to make a perfect reversing all of the time (it's impossible) but safety measures should be considered every single time. 😎💯💪🏿👍🏿
Thanks so much for your videos, it has really been a great help 😀😊please do a reverse around the corner video! You always explain things clearer and better, you are the best 👌
Will do. I get asked that a lot. The reason why I haven't done it yet is because we don't do that here, and in many cases, it's even illegal. I'll try to find a place where I can do it legally.
@@ConduiteFacile Okay, thanks so much for your reply 😊🙏☺👍i live in Germany it is legal here and it's one of the reverse parking that could possibly come up in driving exam and i have been have problems with getting the car parallel to the kebstones. I was having exactly the same problems with parallel parking but i learnt how to do it properly from your videos because i couldn't understand the explanation of my driving instructor, he couldn't explain it clearer and better like you always do in all your videos. I have learnt more from your videos than from my driving instructor, thanks a lot 🙏😊i really appreciate it and God bless you! I'm one of your subscribers and i really like and enjoy your videos because of your easy, clearer and better explanation.
I am trying for my License in Dubai, your videos help in many things. Being in line and judging others Vehicle distance is an issue for me, I hope your videos help.
Hey Carlos, will you consider making a video for new drivers who are older, like in their late 20s or 30s? Things to keep in mind, and how things change when learning later in life.
I will talk about that in a future video yes. But I can tell you that older 20s and 30s is not old at all to get the license. I've had sudents way into their seventies doing a course. And some of them got the license.
@@ConduiteFacile Oh wow, thank you. Didn't know that. I was struggling quite a bit when I first started at 29 because of the instructor just straight up throwing me right into 5 pm traffic without even letting me get a feel for the steering, turns, etc.
My teacher once told me: that long ago you weren't allowed to talk during the exam, one day a solider took his first exam, when he finished he said: "so... How did I do" and the examiner failed him instantly. This went on for a couple of exams, at the last exam the solider was so mad he shot examiner for failing him. After that horrible ending, the solider went to jail and the government changed a few rules...
Thank you so much! Your videos have helped me a lot in passing my exam! anyways, I don't know if you already have, some tips please in driving in the fog and in the rain? Thank you so much and more power to you! Happy Holidays!
@@ConduiteFacile Thank you so much. and also, I need to learn how to do 3 point turn using driveway in a residential area with parked cars on both sides of the streets and also park parallel thereafter. I can not find any videos on this. It will be a big help as reside as Im not lucky to have my own driveway and have to park on the street. and I've been having a hard time each day 🙁 not to hit the neighbors cars. Your videos on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance, Carlos.
Actually here the driving tests are done by a private company, and driving tests are $55 lol I should add that they can do 3 or 4 tests in an hour per examiner given the length of the test.
@@ConduiteFacile good old Ontario Canada. Drive test, owned by Serco. That 3/4 tests is for the G2 step, the full G is probably two maybe three tests per hour and they're $90
How the hell your'e doing your driving exam and you only have 4 hours of experience ??? Where i live we need at least 15 hours of road expérience to do the exame.
The one thing that bothers me a hell lot is when I'm driving in a two-way lane and a car comes from the opposite direction towards my car, and unlike in most countries, the lanes are way too narrow so it gets hard for me to judge how much I should move the car over a side so that my car doesn't get off the the lane while at the same time, the car coming from the opposite direction passes past me without touching/hitting my car. Please make a video on this one!!!
Fantastic video I really appreciate your wonderful videos sir. I would like if you could do a video for judging left and right side when driving. Many beginners have that problem and I'm among them. I wish you would consider my request. Thanks dear teacher.
I think it's interesting how you brought up the unlikelihood of driving exams being administered for profit. Where I am, each driving test is around $120 (around 4 times the price you cited for where you are), and it's administered by private driving schools only (though I'm not sure if they transfer the money to the government). I'm not saying that this means that intentional failing might occur here, but it does make the likelihood seem higher at first glance. (I'd have to do more research to make sure.)
Really like your videos! Thanks a lot for sharing and your efforts!!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 BTW at the place Im taking the driving tests it costs like 90 dollars, not even including using their cars....🙂
My first take when I went for a test here in Canada is that I failed cuz I came in too fast in a school zone twice which is a major offense and he also noted I was too slow clearing turns. Thankfully there was a available slot the next day so I booked it and came in the next morning and corrected my mistakes yesterday then boom passed. Also it was the same examiner I had yesterday so he knew and took me to a lot of areas where there are a lot of different speed limits but I followed every single one of them, but I did make a partial mistake where my examiner told me to make a left turn at the next intersection so I sped up a bit to overtake the car on the left lane so I can change lane but my examiner took it as me cutting the car cuz we were almost at the intersection. But anyway my examiner told me not to do it again and be more careful next time and passed me. I was nervous when I was also preparing myself for the exam but (I don't recommend doing this cuz it's technically illegal) when my brother went for a trip with my relatives I told him to leave his keys so I can practice with his car(brand new RAV4) and I drove it for about a week and all that time I was driving I actually became more and more confident until the nervousness just disappear. It was pretty funny too cuz my brother still haven't come back from his trip and there's no one to drive me so I drove myself to the nearest testing office (still illegal btw cuz I only have a learners license), the staff there didn't really question me about it so they still booked me a test. My brother was pretty shocked I just texted him out of nowhere that I passed my road test.
Underarm steering at 6:02. Normally this gets one verbal warning. The second time is an automatic fail. It's dangerous for 4 different reasons that I won't go into.
When I did my exam at Dorval, for the reverse parking I was only was able to correct the wheel twice, (only 2 steps/ turns on the wheel allowed) then my examiner stopped me.
my examiner was rude and abusive..in the first 5 mins ! i couldnt drive or concentrate after that incident ..i was fuming inside and failed ! i want to report him for abusive behavior
what happens if my leaner's license(Florida) is expired after 12 month, and now i am in a different state(CT) , do i need to retake the computer MCQ test ?
