I have been using hypo on many paths around my garden and am just starting on the back patio now. It hasn't been used for a few years as last few I just pressure washed it and it is years since I had professionals in with hypo. The hypo is making an incredible difference although I hate working with it even with my eye and body coverings on as don't like chemicals. Some very bad areas have had 2 coats including spot treatment and I am going to have do a third neat to a few parts probably tomorrow.
Nice vid pal , I spray hypo before I jet wash , then again after jet washing , my theory is to kill the spores ect before the turbo nozzle blasts them into the ethos 😂
Personally I jetvwash first to remove as much organic growth as possible they apply the Hypo other with I think it's a waste of Hypo as the Hypo only hots the surface which the jet wash removes for you anyway. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel
Brilliant video mate I've only used hypo once that's why I'm watching this got a large patio of India stone to do ,I have always treated with biocide after I've power washed drives and patios and it lasts longer but need to use hypo because this next job is to delicate to power wash first. Thanks Craig I don't use Biocides very often I've been using Hypo for 4 years and jobs 3 years later still look as good as new afterwards and Hypo is more cosy effective than Biocide

@@madchaders1 with K render I go 10 part water to 1 part Hypo and if needs 2 treatments then that's what I do better to go twice than too much at once znd cause damage
What about mixing a bit of biological washing powder and salt in the sand when it is being replaced after cleaning. Would that keep the weeds down and the moss?
@@stuartcareless9550 I've generally used 3 to 1 so 25% but I think next time I'd do a test patch to see because I don't want to use it so strong if I don't need to. Just didn't want to have to redo it.

One point to add here, Sodium Hypochlorite degrades in the container and gets weaker with age. I'm not sure how to buy fresh batch as to me it seems pot luck. Perhaps purchase from a supplier who can guarantee manufacture date or purchase from a chemical supplier??
