@@nathanielewing7656 thank god legends of runeterra exists and rng there is limited to draw or a few cards. HS is just a casino at this point, its not even funny anymore. Each expansions powercreeps the last one
This is correct, in Warcraft lore specifically Worgs are generally the preferred mount/combat dogs of the Orcs, while Worgen are a race of werewolves from the Silverpine/Gilneas region.
Hopping around before the Whiz expansion and wanted to say that this deck revamped my love as a standard player. Muck Pools and Maze Guide had me finding my love of mulligan-and-prayer type decks that can still swing mean after a few bad draws. The end of Badlands’ meta has been nothing but control-y warriors and death knights, and you knew just how to stop them from getting too big 👍
Hes has played so many fun and actually interactive decks lately that, while i'm really enjoying them, i'm always longing for VODs of those decks to watch during the night. It's a shame really
This deck sucks. I appreciate what you do, I swear, because bringing original and entertaining content, especially in 'standard', is not at all easy. But passing off these decks as good when in reality they are mediocre and not suitable for ladder is not good. Just like it's not good to post only two-three decent and successful games and not the ones where you actually see the effectiveness of the deck. This deck, I repeat, sucks. It draws poorly, relies heavily on the 2 mana + other combo to unearth, and is random once you cast the murloc taken with unearth. How could it possibly be competitive?
A 70% Winrate off your excavate legendary is nice, but Paladin is that much more disgusting. 93,3% winrate if you successfully play Boogie Down because the card is that broken, as well as Shroomscavate + double Garden is just +10 +10 and windfury for 20 burst damage at 3 mana as soon as any single token sticks...
Been seeing this one a lot more. I am running a totem version instead of murlocs. Got me from D5 to legend and climbing slowly at 9000k legend. My version makes more sense to me, Shroomscavate on gigantotem is a pretty consistent wincon but I suspect the murloc version might be stronger since I'm not seeing anyone else running totems. Crushing warrior and druid, but aggro is a weak spot.
Worgs and worgen have very little to do with each other. Worgs are giant wolves that come from dreanor and were offen used as mounts for orcs. The original worgen are a twisted race of nightelf druids who were punished after the war of the satyr and sent to the emerald dream. The playable race in world of warcraft and probably most of the worgen cards in hearthstone were infected by these original worgen.
This confusion could be remedied by calling them wargs, but that might be copyrighted by Tolkien, or blizzard wanted to copyright worgs for some reason.
I think you want it in combination with the Murloc that draws a spell anyway. So it's not necessary to keep it just to have an early play, this is a tempo deck after all
Steamcleaner is such a bait and is so over-represented. Its actual noob bait to make you slam a dopamine card at the cost of being dead on board because you're playing a card that brings decks winrates down instead of a playable card.
It's required in any reno deck to deal with plagues and other reno wreckers, otherwise useful against some decks that shuffle stuff into their own decks or to destroy a lot of sludge in yours
@@MrMin0taur Steamcleaner in Reno decks is unironic bait. You're taking a card that lowers your winrate by a notable % against ALL other decks just to turn a 90-10 matchup into a 80-20 matchup. I know it sucks to lose on load in but just like freeze mage vs. control warrior, sometimes you just gotta take the L and concede on mulligan.
