Use this instead: =OR(CELL("ROW")=ROW();CELL("COL")=COLUMN()) I changed the comma to a semicolon and it works. Must be a language problem and how excel manage separators.
I don't seem to have that issue on my end. When you applied the conditional formatting, did you only highlight the area of your spreadsheet you wanted it to apply to?
