We never offer the same menu to customers who come once with a reservation the next time they visit our restaurant.
Since they come all the way here, I want customers to enjoy fresh surprises, new charms, and different tastes, not the same menu.

Mr. Hayase, the owner of the restaurant, shared these thoughts with us during our interview.

Umibozu offers seasonal seafood and vegetables in a creative and wonderful way, and is committed to thorough hospitality.
This time, the menu included not only homemade "Pork Pastrami" but also "Umibouzu Donburi," a bowl of rice topped with a bowl of rice and other dishes that require a little effort or two.

For dinner, there is too much to choose from, but if you let them know your preference when you make a reservation, they will serve you a wonderful dish on your own.
The owner, Mr. Hayase, is actually the model for a character that appears in the works of a manga artist named Naoko Takagi, such as "Floating Grass Days (2)" and "Omatsuri Bansai! and "Festival Hurray!
Fans come to eat the "French toast" that appeared in the manga, and it has become a sacred place.
The owner and staff are friendly, and they are still in touch with Mr. Takagi himself, who has visited the restaurant many times.
