One thing Warrior NEEDS to do with their gloves is make a flared cuff…I like warrior, specially their pro stock sticks and gloves but I literally cut the cuff off a pair of gloves because there was no backhand mobility. They are so restrictive. Like just make a cuff that flares out and they’d be money.
Have you had a chance to evaluate the Sherwood REKKER Legend Pro Gloves? My Bauer NSX gloves are a sauna so I’m looking for breathability and like the moving cuff but wondering if you’ve used glove with a cuff like that
So, I only have the Pro Stock Legend Pros, which doesn't have the flex cuff in it. With that said, the gloves seem to have the same specs (minus that cuff and some decoration). They breathe ridiculously well and feel similar to CCM's with AER-TEC. They are pretty impressive in that regard.
Hey! I was wondering if you could help me out. Just bought a pair of QR6 pros but can’t really find a comparison to the LX2. Is there anything you can point out ? I feel like I want the LX2s after seeing them in your video. Thanks!
Okay, so I haven't see or tested the QR6 Pro gloves yet. I saw them quickly at Warrior's headquarters in Michigan, but it wasn't a full test or anything. If you are happy with the fit and how the QR6 Pro feel, than I don't think there is a reason to go with the LX2 Pro. The good features (the foam package) should be on the QR6 Pro as well so ideally the difference is just the fit and the cuff.
I think I answered this for you on reddit... but just to be sure in case someone reads this. I'd recommend going with pro stock DX gloves, which there are quite a lot of online and can keep you in the glove you currently enjoy!
@@HockeyReviews the name for the glove is just the Warrior Covert Pro, It was something I picked up at a local pure hockey. No QRE or QRL branding at all
Do they have 2 piece index fingers or 3? I know a bunch of Warrior gloves stores were selling were pretty disappointing. But I always recommend upgraded when YOU feel like you need to or want to. If they palms are going, or you aren't happy with something than go for it, but unless you are having major issues you might not need to?
@@HockeyReviews 2 piece fingers all around, look similar to the QR5 20 just renamed as Covert Pro. The palms got really sort of crunchy(they were very soft) but only thing is I got a navy blue. I have been thinking of upgrading but not sure if I should change to maybe Bauer or CCM
