I was so sad to hear about Stan Lee's passing. I wrote a song inspired by his characters and stories. Hope you like. RIP to a legend.

I never got a spider bite.
No super serum's running through my veins.
I can’t build a suit of armor,
and I don't think I can move things with my brain.

Some days it’s more than I can take.
But, I’ll raise my weapon, learn my lesson,
stumble now and then, and find my way.
I’ll fight the fight, learn wrong from right,
find ways to be a hero every day.

Capo on the third fret Verse: G - D minor - C (then a sus2 embellishment) x4 Chorus: C - G - D - E minor (x2) C - G - B7 - E minor - D - C - D C - G - D - E minor (x2) For the final chorus, I suspend the chords (i.e. Cadd9, G, Dsus4, E minor 7)

Thanks so much dude. I host a trivia game tomorrow night where I ask a variety of questions and play music after each question. I wanted to pay homage to Stan Lee during the show with songs and I love giving the crowd new artists to listen to. This song is right up the alley of what I needed to play respects to one of the greatest creationists of all time. Stan didn’t just create something groundbreaking and revolutionary Plenty of other people have done just that But what made Stan different is that he never seen anything he created through the veil of dollar signs. He seen new and creative ways to tell inspiring story’s to generations of people. He found ways to use Extraordinary people to inspire ordinary people to be *extra*. He used impervious beings to show us it’s ok to be vulnerable. He never lost his original spark that kickstarted everything he put on pages. He never lost the love he felt for his characters and how they impacted the people who read their story’s. I believe He truly loved everyone who’s hand he shook, whos comic he signed, who’s pictures he posed in. I feel he loved being able to touch so many people and give them the love and support they unfortunately may not have had otherwise. We all miss you Stan Lee And I’m sorry I never got to meet you in person Excelsior

I owned a chain of comic shops. I was privileged to have met Stan on several occasions and hung out after events with him. I like to think I got to know the man as well as the legend a little. I honestly think he would have loved your tune; the spirit of which is the real message of all his creations and stories. That's what he went on about; how anyone can rise above everyday villainous problems to become the "hero" of your own life ... well done, son. It's brilliant !
