Sewing is my happy place. It is great when l get the opportunity. I did a lot of quilting and garment construction throughout my early family life. Now that I am in my middle years l find it difficult to find my style. Not easy to find what suits and feels comfortable wearing. The journey continues.

That’s wonderful! 20K! Congratulations! I found you in 2020 when I had a weekly furlough for about a month. I learned to sew in high school which was way back then. Lol. I haven’t sewn much since high school and wanted to give it a go. I’ve made a few summer dresses and pot holders and bowl coozies. Just to learn the basics again. Then life happens and I’m back off and then back on to sewing this and that. It’s so much fun when it’s all completed and it turns out the way it should. I love the colors you in the fabrics you chose. You are spot on with your color scheme. The fall leaves are beautiful. Thank you for all you share with us. You’re a great inspiration. And I’m so happy for your 20K achievement!

Started watching in 2020. You appealed to me because you were sewing for the everyday woman. I loved how you seemed to be comfortable with your body type and if you could be so could I. Seeing how beautiful you look in everything changed my outlook that I didn’t have to be a size 8 to sew beautiful things. I started back sewing for who I am now not for that gal waiting to drop that 10 lbs.

Just had to say on seeing the old video, you look more beautiful and natural than ever, I think if you have an interest and you get so much enjoyment from it it reflects in your face, Well done on reaching 20 k I m in the UK so its interesting seeing what's going on the other side of the world. I ve sewed all my life but there are not the shops in the UK like there used to be when I was younger, it's a shame.

I found your channel early in 2020 when I was locked down in my home in northern Ontario, Canada and I needed to find ways to feel less alone while I couldn’t see friends and family and coworkers for months at a time. I found you about a year ago when I returned to sewing (after a 40+ year absence!) and was looking for Australian sewists, sewing inspiration, quality fabric stores, and patterns. I first found your shop (even though I was too scared to buy 'nice' fabric while I was re-learning to sew 🤦‍♀), but then realised you are also on RU-vid and Insta.
