Something with a epoxy might help with adhesion, and durability. You would just need a clean surface, but would not require compound.

I have recently used hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating on my 2019 van .. I gave the paint a proper preparation.. Wow ,, the results were great . Looks deep and rich . Hopefully it will last. Ease of maintenance is what I am after.

We all know the Turtle wax brand as a staple brand that have been around for so many years but I had no idea just how innovative they are and the amount of thought, work and science actually went into their line of products. Growing up as a kid I gravitated towards Meguiars products. That's what dad used. I saw TW on the shelf but shrugged them off thinking they were inferior, less effective. I appreciate the corporate culture shown in this video and their desire to get people like me to give TW a "second look." The Turtle logo is Iconic(💚) and the products are easy to use and the packaging looks fantastic. I'll give it another look!

I met Rod last October. He was great at answering question I had about polishing and even.let me give it a shot on a panel he had. Got a polisher because of that. Great guy!! I've used the Hybrid Ceramic line on a couple of my cars. Great products. Can't wait for that new Hybrid Black line!!

I'd love to see Turtle Wax come out with a true ceramic coating with 1-2 yr durability, that's easy to use and a good value. Also an Iron Remover that's effective, easy to use and a good value.

I would be happy to know that they will take steps to improve their customer service. I recently called Turtle Wax headquarters to ask a question....twice. Very disappointed and surprised that no one ever returned my call after 2 attempts.

Great video Pan on such a great company. Nothing beats the longevity of their Seal N Shine now the Hybrid Solutions. I applied Seal N Shine on my daily driver back in October before my foot surgery knowing I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the cleaning for a long time. Well 5 months later and only 2 touchless car washes sitting outside all winter it still is beading to this day. 👍👍

I remember the jingle... Turtle Wax Leaves a Sparkling Finish, & I have looked to them for outstanding car finishes. I also use your recommended Turtle Wax - NEW - Ceramic Wet Wax as a drying aid, & it gives such a wonderful finish, I love it. It is on my cars, & my delivery truck. My boss chided me for washing my truck, because he pays ppl to wash, but not to finish. This is such a great product, & I put it over BeadMaker, the product I most loved before. Thank you all for making such a wonderful product :-) Oh... Thank you Pan for your drying aid demo, saves so much time. Thank you all :-)

Pan, you sneak. You're funny. Really nice job, Pan. Did you do all the editing and production? Really enjoyed the tour and interviews. You are getting good at interviewing. What really caught me is TW is family run and atmosphere. When she said they have operated on "hand shake" deals with some distributors for a long time, that says to me integrity. One likes to feel confidence in a company. The whole family run operation run on a hand shake does that.

Amazing and fun tour of TW headquarter! Im not a profesional but i like detailing as a hobby. I have carpro cquartz uk 3.0 and Gliss ceramic coating on my cars, but i just bought 2 bottles of seal n shine and one ceramic spray coating. perfect for my caravan, the kids mopeds, mountainbikes and my roofbox. Im finaly ready to admit it, i have used seal n shine on my air compressor just to make it pop and make it easy to clean. im probably nuts. :) Its not all about cars so be creative and protect the things you love. :D

I work for a smallish family company that makes food nationally. I can tell, that what these people say, they mean. I've gone all-in on their Hybrid line of products and have loved them all with the sole exception of a problem I had with their 3 in 1 Detailer. But they quickly offered a replacement or refund after contacting them (I chose the replacement as it wasn't the product that was a problem, it was the spray bottle it came in). I'm really starting to love these guys. Too bad I don't have a black car anymore. After fifteen years of owning a couple, I went with another color this time around.

Thanks Pantheorganiser for this video..I have always loved the Turtlewax Brand and after all this years....it’s nice to finally see some of the members of the team behind the products and to feel their passion, enthusiasm and drive...thank you too for the being their “accidental” brand ambassador 🙁👌🥳...thanks to you my Seal N Shine didn’t last more than two applications 😱😭before being replaced by the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating that you tested soon after!!! 😂😂To be honest..to me...the Seal N Shine felt more closer to wax or polish application...to which I could relate....the Hybrid Solution spray twice application per panel seemed a lighter product.....and I was a bit doubtful if the amount instructed was enough!! Mark you am no professional detailer or polisher for that matter..but...I love to look after my car...so as per your video...I restrained myself from adding an extra spray coating on the first application.and the effect after wiping down...is just the way you said it!!! 😱🤣👍🙈😍...Redankulas...is all am saying!!! Certainly worth every penny!!!!!

Pan TheOrganizer Thanks....it’s fun to learn from someone whose standards are pretty high even for “normal” stuff🤣👌...I own A 2013 Fiat 500 turbo called Luigi (named after Luigi in the Car’s cartoon animation, whose a rendition of the original Fiat 500 himself)...his my daily and we are on the freeway to and from work almost 5 days a week...he has a unique copper orange metallic color and his interior is a mixture of leather (seats, steering and manual shift gear knob and a leather gear shift lever boot or cover)and plastics...only had him for 6 months..had 29,420 miles then and just past 38,000miles now...I do a few road trips too because I enjoy being out on the road and Washington State has beautiful places to see and visit...so looking after him is important for me. I have used Turtle wax products for the Shampoo, Tyres polish and ceramic spray coating...haven’t really started on the interior yet but it’s relatively clean...I have been watching your videos on how to clean and main interior leather and plastic panels.....just trying to decide which product I want to start with sometimes it’s seems you present so many options which is great but can be confusing😱😂🙈....appreciate your time and effort though...you didn’t just get to so many viewers by chance...your time and effort in the quality of your videos resonates with us...in short...to coin a phrase....the FORCE IS STRONG WITH YOU!!!!🤣🤣👊

Based on your and Jimbo's recommendation of Hybrid Solutions you both have brought me much happiness. All I use now is their Ceramic Spray Wax. My only complaint is the bottles. Within 10 minutes the cheap plastic sprayer broke and the design of the ceramic spray bottle itself lends itself to fall over very easily. I have also noticed that when the bottle gets low, the spray comes out in blobs and not a nice mist. I called TW and talked to a customer service rep, but I don't think she understood what I was talking about. Please ask TW to improve their sprayer and bottle. The product is fantastic. I have sold 10 bottles to my friends and family because of my results. Great video. Nice to put a face to their products.

Hi Pan, yours is technically the best car detailing show. This was the most interesting show with Turtle Wax. But most of their products are not available in India, and the ones available are exorbitantly overpriced.

You use a foam cannon to spray on the soap. Then you wash and rinse. Is there anything like "Jet Dry" you can use in a final rinse to make drying easier and reduce any areas that may not have been dried as well?

WOW' fantastic. I'm over 60 now and turtle wax was introduced by my father when i was around 6 years old. He would give me a tiny patch on the back of his XK120 and give me marks out of 10 when i finished. Needless to say my first early attempts needed re doing 🤣 But i made the grade in the end. 🙏 Sorry my spell check is over riding. XK50 🤔🤣

Well done Pan 😀 Really great video! It was really interesting to hear the origins of the brand name (Turtle Creek) - awesome. I agree with you about wanting to see a highly durable coating that is easy to use. I would add that given that the bulk of swirls are caused through the washing process, the product should offer some swirl resistance bringing us full circle back to that turtle shell protection. Keep up the good work dude! 😀👍

I'd love it if they could create a rinse-aid spray which has the added property of popping the leftover bubbles after I've rinsed off my snow foam. Those foam bubbles last forever! Especially if it was something I could pop onto my power washer just like a foam cannon, and boom, I can spray a rinse-aid on after my contact wash and any leftover bubbles on my driveway or hidden in the crevices around the body panels pop and rinse away with the water. Still waiting for Hybrid Solutions release in Australia, I guess it's taking longer now. I'm glad they are keeping the same product labeling now for all countries. It takes away the confusion. We didn't get Ice Seal n Shine but got it as Seal n Shine hybrid, so a little confusing. Thanks for putting this video together.

Great video Pan. Always nice to get an inside look at the people and products behind the products. For Turtle Wax I'd love to see a AIO exterior black trim restorative/protective product that's going to last 6+ months. Seams like most vehicles have two, three or more plastic bits that react differently to the current offerings. There's a couple great restorers on the market but they're not available in local stores, pricey, messy, take too long to dry/cure and then have a second step to add a sealant/coating after. Great job with new products in the last couple years, hope to see more in the future.

Great Video Pan! I can see the passion in the owners face how proud they are of the brand there grandfathers made! When you were speaking to the head of r&d about a product we would like to see, it’s a long shot but with there name been turtle “wax” they are good producers of waxes, so how about a liquid was or a wax blended with the same capability as a traditional ceramic coating, that can last 2 - 3 years or even 5. But in a wax type formula that will give ease of use, easy on and off, but gives outstanding gloss and slickness and acts just like a coating but in a wax type of form. If this could be achieved it would be a game changer and put turtle wax ahead of the game. Much love to the owners and thanks again for sharing this video pan 👍🏼

Thanks! Unfortunately, there is no wax that can last for years. Carnauba waxes typically only last 2-3 months. Being organic in nature, there’s a limit to what they can do. But Turtle Wax did produce a paste wax with graphene and ceramic technology added to it, that can last 3-6 months in the right conditions. In 2019 when they launched a totally new line called the Hybrid Solutions. That was their challenge to reach for a higher quality range of products and it worked. I’ve always enjoyed detailing my cars and haven’t purchased a Turtle Wax product in since I was hand waxing 25 years ago. I recently introduced the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spay into my lineup and it’s legit. It sits on the same shelf as my P&S, Adams, Meguiars, Sonax, Carpro and Gyeon products. I like what Turtle Wax is doing.

Really liked that video. My FK8 Sonic Grey Type R is presently sitting with TW Hydrophobic wax on its paintwork, which does give it a "smooth to the touch" feel but for its yearly fine detailing going over I think I need to try their Ceramic Polishes & Wax. Need to research more on the technique I will use. Had the car from new (2018) and wax went on soon after the purchase. A wash & Clay Bar for starters then ?????
