NOOOOOOO THE KRAKEN EGGS ARE GONE!!! Those were one of my favorite things of Kraken! It was just nice being in there with that neat music

Got to ride Kraken today for the pass member preview, it honestly is an awesome idea, and it was an awesome ride, got to go twice. However the dispatch times were very bad, hopefully things speed up in the future, they had our head sets on and we didn't leave the station with them on for like 5 minutes. The whole time from time the train arrived to getting on and leaving the station was like almost 15 minutes. The lines will be really long for sure. There's also problems with it staying on your head properly, my 2 friends with me said both of theirs came off during the ride. I noticed it's not very comfortable on the face either, and I felt it digging a bit into the bridge of my nose. It was fun, but they have a ways to go to make it all work smoothly.

Won't knock it until I try it; but to me one of the main parts of the thrill is seeing the altitude you're at and how fast you're going in real world/time. Skeptical of this new ride style.

They should make one of these with drop zone and they VR shows you jumping out of a plane.

I'm amazed that Disney haven't added vr to space mountain yet... Especially in Paris where they just refurbed it

I feel like the line will be extra long because not only will they have to check the safety harnesses, bit now these new mask

Is this Samsung Gear VR or a different system?

Do you think on a busy day when it's open, operations will be terrible? (like six flags) Or do they get the trains in and out somewhat quickly?

Now if only they would have given the track some TLC and given it a nice paint job, and came up with a solution to smooth out the ride a little bit. I know the ride was starting to get a little rough.

Very unusual... I haven't heard of any other coaster that has this VR feature. Too bad we can't see the actual screen until we get there... all part of the price of admission as they say. ;) Haven't taken a ride on this coaster since 2004... going to be interesting trying this new tech out.

I went yesterday and you have to reserve a spot online before you can go on and plus the retro fit is terrible

Are you able to use the VR headset if you wear glasses? I've heard headsets like that are usually too tight for those of us with glasses. And I can't see without them so I can't take them off in order to wear the headset.

Geeze.. this is gonna take a looong time to dispatch trains... Only a couple people to get the headsets on and adjust them... and then you can't get off the train till you have your headset "sanitized" and placed back in the bag.. otherwise it's going to hang and dangle while the restraint is up.. You need an unloading station if you want to use VR We'll see if Cedar Point can do it right. Seems like they're doing it on all their already popular coasters Maverick, Millennium... one other I saw an ad for.. They didn't say 2018... so I wouldn't be surprised if it came early and came sometime this year

Headsets are not sanitary

VR is a fad. It's like taking a movie screen on a real coaster. I can see people trying it, but for most it will be one and done then back to normal.

Pls seaworld parks and entertainment, don't spread this to Busch Gardens tampa on any ride. It would be a terrible idea.

They’ve ruined kraken

I'm sorry but can parks please stop ruining perfectly good coasters with VR. just build a fucking simulator. You can basically get the exact same experience without having to ruin the throughput of a top coaster.... I love how they didn't even have the headsets cleaned and there was a second train waiting behind them ready to enter the station.... those guys are going to have a fun time waiting an additional 10 mins while they clean all the headsets, put them back into the boxes, open the harnesses, load another set of people and then teach everyone how to put the headsets on.
