As most of you know, our sweet Jolly Holly was in a terrible accident on the evening of 4/1/2019 while driving her dinghy from Christmas Cove to St Thomas for dinner. She was struck by a large motor vessel that was traveling fast with no running lights. The vessel’s impact completely destroyed her dinghy and it’s a MIRACLE that she escaped with only a collapsed lung and VERY bruised and beaten body! She was found unconscious in the water and slowly came to as she was picked from the wreckage then rushed to the hospital. Holly has so many wonderful friends across this blue planet and she has helped each of us in some way! Whether by fixing the impossible on each vessel she steps on, traveling to aid someone in need, or just being the beautiful soul that spreads her positive light on us all, Holly has been there for us. Now she needs our help! Please let us all come together to surround and support such a wonderful human that we all cherish dearly! hey babe you work so hard don't worry about what others think people forget you repair your own boat repair the charterboats edit these videoes you are a fab person and not just cos you can rebuild a motor you are a supremely positive person Id love to trade engine tales with you I cut my teth on perkins 4107 marine engines only cos at the time I could sit in the engine bay alongside the engine lol my dad who taught me how to build these engines was a big lad and struggled to get down to the engines so little old me was plonked in the hole with 2 diesels lol

I saw a video on my "Sailing Technology" playlist that was deleted and I was trying to figure out which video it was (no way to make a record of course) and now I know which one it was. I completely understand why you removed it, and not a problem. I was using it as a way to show "PEOPLE, HAVE YOUR DINGHY LIT at NIGHT" . I hope to god your doing better. I've been recommending , at a minimum, they use this light : It has a green light on the back.How bright it would be at night I do no know ? The green part I mean. In the front it is very bright, and it uses 18650 lithiums charged with a simple cellphone charger. You can keep them topped off, unlike ni-cads which you were supposed to let discharge. I use especially high powered 18650 batteries here because I order New batteries from ebay which were enclosed in laptop batteries (I take new laptop batteries apart) and so that light would be spectacularly bright and long lasting. So, hope your doing well. Mike.
