I'm angry that this only has 604 views 3 weeks after. It should have more and have more of an impact. For every individual that can be enriched, society (and them, of course) could be gaining so many orders of magnitude more.

How's the chart of maleability of executive function over the age of individuals? Can we help someone older or should we just focus on the younglings?

Stop being abusive to pregnant women, and your kids won't have these issues This poor executive Functioning is an Evolutionary Advantage. when under stress, the fetus undergoes changes related to stress the mother feels and the gets a form of BRAIN DAMAGE, this enables the new child to only focus on the next most important thing that faces them....so they focus on only Fucking, food, and Fighting ! THey cannot PLAN, cannot delay gratification, all they understand is NOW ! A life of crime and the "center cannot Hold" But you'll have more children than normal's, and thus be evolutionary more successful...but your life will be an ummitigaed nightmare and you'll die about 12 years earlier than if you didn't have ADHD (another term for Executive Dysfunction0 You can try Dexedrine....watch videos by Russell Barkley to find the unsatisfactory solution to ADHD (which yo have) Also worth trying is ACT (acceptance and commitant therapy), to accept your condition

Cool topic and no slight on the researcher's knowledge, but her "umm" and "uhh" counts are off the charts! Holy
