So insane to me that people say he's mid because he doesn't reach Mlynar/Texas levels of damage (yes I've already seen someone straight up say that, I want to blow my brains out) his class is fundamentaly laneholders with survivavility meant to deal with crowds of enemies while Mlynar and Texas are pure nukers that do the big peepee damage and then leave. Dueling against single powerful enemies is literally the situation where reapers are at the most disadvantage, yet the fact Exe can hold himself against most of these with little to no outside support just shows how competent he is.
prollem is at the stage in the game we're at esp. on cn we dont need laneholders since a shocking amount of stages can be cleared by just dropping texalt and yatalt on things in rotation eg. the infamous cc11 1op
@@mrfrog1794some people do want to play the game like it was intended though. Texalt and Yatalt are also limited AFAIK so not everyone can/will get them. I don't mean to sound rude but that's not a valid point. Not everything has to be powercrept to hell and back.
@@mrfrog1794 sure, what's the point of pulling or building any character ever again or coming up with diverse strategies when you can just solo everything with the latest game-breaking balans amirite?
Actually, I think they design his 3rd skill badly. Reduce ATK speed hurt reaper trait and skill rotation alot and the last reap ATK is lame and lazy. The last ATK should interact with his bullet hit then it will make using him more reward.
@@thienluong3796 how does it hurts his skill rotation when you can literally deactivate the skill whenever you want or leave it on until he consume all ammo? He has offensive recovery and ammo system there's no such thing as "skill cycle" there. Also the reap does interact with the ammo system? The finisher stacks up with the damage increase of the ammo consumed on s3. My real only complain about Exe is that his visual effects and sfx look almost as boring as his base form. (Nothing an eventual skin wouldn't fix)
Pretty good overall, half lane-holder and half boss killer. Requires a build-up to deal significant damage against harder bosses but works a lot better against elites. The company should design characters around this strength level.
I like how Executor ALT is pretty much one of the closest things to true Generalist in this game. He is not the best at anything but he can do pretty much everything but hitting flying enemies.
Now, before anyone says "Bro he's strong" or "Bro he's weak" I need to point out two points: One, he's a *reaper guard* which means he's designed to be an *AOE damage dealer* so the damage against the bosses is simply a plus, no matter the results; Two, his talent is *RNG-based* which means if the stars doesn't align you might not kill some of the bosses shown and vice versa
Watching these always puts into perspective how easy we really had it year 1 compared to bosses today Also love Patriot's fight V1 "Y'all hear something I ain't hear nothin" V2 "LEGALIZE NUCLEAR BOMBS"
@@Akarumey2023 eyja, surtr, Exu, saria, ifrit, tsukinogi, ling, Chen, skadi, specter, gladdiia, angelina, siege, shining, dusk, nian, cantabile, Lin and literally 90% of the roster: yeah, the amount of dudes we have is enough
He seems like a decent lane holder and can be used to finish a late stage boss in a pinch esp with help from bards' inspiration. Plus that design is very cool, I definitely will pull for him.
There is some design missing in him that truly gives him the badge as the legit Executor and that is an execution skill that can trigger as enemy's HP approaches zero. The ammo system on him is unique but it could've been improved that he can consume more bullets the lesser HP his targets are and should automatically do the scythe swing after consuming x amount of ammo say every 4 ammo consumed and the damage ramps up on successive slashes. If Executor will consume 12 ammos instantly then he will deal 3 slash simultaneously.
