at least she seems a lot easier to balance, just slap more enemies grouped up and the targeting rng will do the rest of the job to reduce her single target dps by a whole lot
@@ReZort. It locks on the heaviest but randomly chooses targets inside the circle so if a boss would be vonstantly surrounded it would essentially remove her boss killing. Take the midboss from IS2 as example the one that spams its own shadows.
Tbf, this does have the unique condition that in order to do that ridiculous single target damage, that enemy has to be the only one in that cluster, so unlike other balans ops like surtr, mlynar and chalter, she’s conditional *and* single target.
@@wildfire_ it doesnt matter because her trait is she will attack the heaviest enemies first and 99% of the times the boss will be the heaviest enemies on the map and if the boss is not that heavy then the boss is is most likely easily cheesable with puller and stroker so it doesnt matter either way
I think she is really on the verge of being broken but somewhat balanced out for being an unit that relies much on enemy positioning and slow ASPD on skill, especially if you are using buffs since most ATK buffs are about 15-30 secs and she can only hit a few times before the buffs go off. Other than that... yeah, she is probably the best operator we have seen for a while.
hell nah that's global range when she locks on a boss and you wouldn't buff her anyway because she doesn't need it to pulverize most bosses. that and her S2 which powercrept Thorns (for the most part)
Relies on enemy positioning when s3 has global range and follows targets through phases. Also s2 has a lot of damage and cc with infinite duration. She is most certainly 'balans'
@@Vladumerejust pair her with a healing defender and she can outperform thorns.Thorns can only heal when not attacking so that self sustain becomes useless the moment he meet an enemy with good enough def,the same can be said about his lane holding skill. His skill is not aoe and he will be too busy hitting that one enemy he will leak the others
@@sentibird123 she cant block. you cannot powercreep a melee unit with a ranged one. she explictly requires someone to block cause of the heavyshooter ranged. Shes not a laneholder lmao. Thorns will still be the king of general content and especially annihalations, he will now have a really amazing ranged ally to help with afk setups.
Just thinking back to all the boss fights I struggled to beat, and Typhon just makes the grand majority a trivial matter Edit: I really do love how Typhon's S3 will track and allow her to fire outside her normal range tiles. Bosses can run but they'll only die tired.
not only has she an aimbot, she is also smart enough to not attack enemies when they are in invincible mode so her skill charges don't go to waste. i like that
Isn’t it obvious that no operators can attack something invisible/invincible?(except totter with his talent)They will stop attack if they can’t see the enemy even tho she still able to lock on the invisible boss smh i get your points tho.
I was going to 100% pull for her because I just like this kind of sniper (forgot the name) and her S3 just seemed like it’d be cool visually. I honestly thought she’d be mid as hell, didn’t expect her to actually be broken asf.
The fact that she basically does what mystic casters were suppose to do which is mutiple hits in 1 attack but better They did mystic casters so dirty man💀
@@ProfessorPenny2583 bro forgot that casters have the only other op that can actually have global range with no needs of a condition, Goldenglow is easily one of the best ops in the game
Released in July in CN, so will come to global around February if all goes as usual? Well, I'm pulling for her and her pots. Love her design, her S3 incredible damage, and the sound is just a thing of beauty.
You could use s2 for that boss, like "oh wow! The boss spawns shitties around itself, If only I got a skill that can deal damage to the boss more consistently without being affected much by those." Kind of thing.
Yea not a complete powercreep. Mlynar still much higher in DPS. He only costs 12 dp instead of 24, he has 4000+ hp and 500 defense, so he is much less squishy and boasts incredible survivability. Mlynar is also semi-AOE since he targets 5 enemies at once, I wouldn’t use typhon if I were to deal with 5 bosses at once, I would use mlynar. Typhon has higher total damage but less DPS, her “global range” is better. Mlynar is definitely not powercreeped, people in CN still use him much more than typhon.
