Lovely Video clip! Apologies for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Damykrotia Natural Skin Magic (probably on Google)? It is a good one of a kind guide for reversing insulin resistance and diabetes minus the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my buddy at very last got amazing results with it.

This was great, thanks, been searching for "what is the best medicine for insulin resistance?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Panadison Substratal Preponderance - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to reversing insulin resistance and diabetes minus the headache. Actually getting leaner means higher testosterone production, testosterone is produced because the body wants a certain amount of estrogen, because fat cells produce estrogen, when you're fat the body does not neet to produce a lot of testosterone to convert into estrogen because your adipose tissue produces enough by itself. When you diet down and lose fat, the body starts to produce more testosterone so that it can be aromatized into estrogen.

Very well explained. Dr Jason Fung has also explained it similarly using a 'basement freezer' v/s a 'kitchen refrigerator' analogy. It would have been nice if the video provided info on how much glucose liver and muscles can store for a typical male/female (before being stored as fat cells) and how long the glucose stays in the blood stream before it is shuttled to the 'parking lots'.

For sure. Also just a heads-up, A1C and other fasting tests (even fasting insulin tests) are basically worthless.. A1C missed a whopping 73% of full on diabetics 😮 check the video "Kraft insulin test" by Dr Jamnadas. It's like a GTT but with insulin. Good luck!

@johndoh1000
@johndoh1000 5 лет назад
I’m still not clear on how this affects insulin resistance. This is just a guess, but insulin resistance just means your cells are less efficient in receiving insulin. They still can receive it, but they don’t take in as much. So if you work out, increase your muscle mass [muscle cell count] then you’ll also produce more cells that in turn can utilize the same amount of glucose provided. Thanks for providing the analogy this helped me work out my own view on how insulin should work.
@GLUCOSEZONE
@GLUCOSEZONE 5 лет назад
Insulin resistance means that the insulin that is in the system is not effective at opening up the cells to receive sugar from the blood. Think of it like a lock and key-the key doesnt open the door. If you workout, you change the shape of the lock (and there are more locks) to better fit the key (insulin) and open the door for the sugar to go!

I have been doing your beginner level in the 50-60 heartrate zone and i have to thank you for it. I have had tight calf muscles for decades and suffer from many muscle spasms and i have finally found a bit of relief. It's a shame that you only do in person coaching/training thru your fitscript, if ever you decide to offer a video program membership i would gladly sign up...keeping an eye out for you on youtube ;) Keep doing what you're doing, you are helping many~

The one thing that is missed here is that at first, you will see very high blood sugar levels from the "parking lot emptying". I'm a type 1 and I always have to up my insulin after working out. Also if you don't monitor them enough, you'll see that after they have lowered, they will quickly spike again. I have been working out for over a month now and go through a lot more insulin than I used to. I should point out that I'm not trying to gain mass, so I am not eating more. I am trying to cut fat. So I'd recommend monitoring your levels closely.

Hello there. Is this an issue that you have brought up with your physician? You can definitely do that as an option and I would also say make sure you are eating enough (small amounts of quality carbs) so your body does not go into a "starvation mode" and retain weight for energy.

I have been diagnoses with diabetes 15 plus yrs ago. Last yr Feb. my a1c was 12.7% at date it's 7%. I am 52 yrs young, 5'6 1/2 wt 145. the only carbs I have is only 15-20% per day which is only veggies. I exercise every other day for 30 minutes and I take supplements and vitamins. Since I've been eating this way for 3 months now...my blood sugar was awesome. Within a month of eating like this my a1c went from 7.4% to 7.0%....yaaaaaay.....but wait....I am and have been eating the same diet and in the last 2 weeks my blood sugar have gone up into the 200's. Any explanation of what is going on.

I remember reading Jason fung's blog saying that during a fast, your body has about 24 hours of glycogen and glucose. So for a 24 hour fast, speed up burning the rest of your glycogen/glucose reserves by doing some jump roping or other high intensive exercise. Exercise increases insulin sensitivity, fasting increases insulin sensitivity. Glucose/glycogen gone, adipose tissues come in to fill the void in the last hours of your fast.
