EXID's Killing Voice is KILLER! 

To give you more info about the group, they started as 6 members in 2012 but 3 members left soon after due to contract reasons, so the remaining 3 members asked their vocal coach (Solji, she had given up trying to debut because she was 24 at the time and was told that she wasn't pretty enough to redebut at that age) and a trainee that was originally rejected (Hyelin) to join them, which made them a 5 member group (with LE, Hani and Jeonghwa). They came from a very small label and they were almost completely unknown until the end of 2014, they were on the verge of disbanding because it was tough financially, their manager wasn't even getting paid at one point. Then a fancam of Hani performing "Up and down" went viral, it has more than 30 millions views, which is crazy because they were completely unknown at the time. This fancam saved their career, "Up and down", which had been released a few months before and hadn't been successul made a complete comeback on the charts, it was so crazy that music shows even invited EXID to come promote the song even though the promotion period had already ended (which I think is the first time it happened in kpop history). After that they came out with great songs again and again. But their trouble is not over, when they finally were successful, Solji (the former vocal coach), who is the leader and main vocal got sick and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and had to take a break for almost 2 years, from the end of 2016 to their full group comeback in November 2018. But once again EXID beat the odds by coming out with great songs with only 4 members in the meantime.

When she debuted in EXID in 2012, she changed her stage name to LE. Then, recently for their newest comeback Fire, which is both a 10 year anniversary celebration and their first ever comeback without a record label (since they are now Independent artists), she chose to change her stage name back to ELLY.

EXID is so fun, talented and beautiful that it just feels so nice when someone like you appreciates them. Their fandom name is LEGGO. EXID stands for 'Exceed in Dreaming' and LEGGO for 'Let's Go'. So they always end their greetings as 'EXID LEGGO' which basically is a motivation for them and their fans to keep dreaming and going towards achieving it. It's so meaningful. One more thing: They just don't sing and dance. The rapper LE is involved in 95% of EXID songs as lyricist and composer. She has also produced for other artists. She was also an underground rapper before becoming a kpop idol which explains why she is so good. I want to brag about each member but better if you get into them by yourself by watching more stuff. Btw Solji, the leader, is their vocal coach and a deemed university professor. Also, their title tracks are awesome but their b sides are unmatched. Such a large variety and such great music that you just have them in your playlist. And they are producing excellent stuff since their debut in 2012.

Hi, they all have something chaotic hahaha, you will see it when you see a guide, EXID had a peculiar history: LE the girl with the sunglasses, Junghwa with a green shirt, Solji in the middle with a blue shirt, Hani white jacket with black lines, and Hyelin). The one you mentioned (Brown jacket with green diamonds) is Hyelin, lead vocal of the group and the truth is that her humor is incredible, I recommend you to see more of their videos.

They had just came back this year after almost 2-3 years for their 10th Anniversary! The girls are currently not under the same company and have their own solo projects (some music, some not). However, it was just recently established that Hani had secured the copyrights to EXID!! The recent album ‘X’ was funded by the girls themselves! They have a wonderful friendship. Please expect absolute chaos from them!! 😂 To be aware, when you look into the M/V’s the girls will be seen as a 4 member group for 2 years due to their leader, Solji, going on hiatus due health issues. But she came back when they released ‘I Love You’! Just a heads up, LE (the rapper) now goes by ELLY as her stage name as she also made it her producer tag. She currently produces and writes for a girl group called TRI-BE! She also writes for EXID as well.

In order from left to right, the members are LE (the rapper and songwriter/producer of the group, she wrote and produced most if not all of EXID's songs), Jeonghwa, Solji, Hani and Hyelin :)

Fun fact: LE is the rap mentor of Hyuna. Hyuna used to have a deeper voice when rapping, but she trained with LE as her mentor around 2014 and so now, you might notice how Hyuna's rapping style is very much highly inspired by LE.

LE taught some kpop idols to rap for example Hyuna. They even have a song together called blacklist. It's so good ❤️

EXID actually means Exceed In Dreaming. In the fall of 22 the girls won a court order to aquire the EXID the rapper ELLY is a patened lyrists and owns their music they are all currently signed to different agencies working on solo projects including acting another fun fact their leader who is in the blue top Solji is a 2 time King of Masked Singer winner. EXID is one of the most talented GG’s in SK with an amazing underdog story of rejected trainees, disbanded duet singer/vocal trainer, and underground Rapper with no Big 3 privilege becoming legends because of their talent and personalities. They overcame possible disbandment 2-3 times and serious medical illness, so they are very close, and they are extremely funny off stage. Solji is one of the best vocalists in SK and now a Music Professor in SK. LE/Elly the Rapper is the composer and producer of most of EXID’s songs. BTW, Hani the Face of EXID (with the striped sweater here) said recently that she obtained the trademark to the name of EXID.
