A nine-minute thrash song that never lags, never gets boring or repetitive, just crushes from start to finish, is so insanely difficult to pull off but these guys did it. Legendary.

True. I think Because Metallica always stole the show. Never understood why Metallica is so overrated Exodus, testament have some great albums under their belt.
This is just too good to be true. So tight performance. Every member of the band is killing it. Dukes owns the crowd.The sound is so crisp I cannot believe it's not overdubbed. This is one of the concerts I forever will regret that I not saw.
@@arvindshastry1178 I was gonna say this lol. They did two albums of songs that average 7-9 minutes each. Personally too long for me but you can't deny the musicianship and compositional skills required to keep that much material cohesive, let alone make two good albums out of it

@@richardkey4289 yeah. I remember an Exodus show I've been to in 2006 and they used to tease Lee Altus to bring out the fucking album already (Heathen album). Best show I've seen aswel it was a small venue and I got alot of picks from Gary that evening.
THE DUKES ERA WAS HEAVY AS F*CK!!!!! Love BOTH Exodus Era's (well all 3 i should say). 'Funeral' and ' Blood in/Out' are great as well. They are GREAT right now! But Dukes really pushed it hard man. Awesome front man. Unapologetic. Got Exodus's Cred back after 'Force of Habit' and kept it strong after 'Damned' . Adapted well to changing tastes at the time. Loved this era. He was the ONLY replacement after Souza.. Incredible Riffs and Drums. Band was focused as hell and rejuvenated. Dukes deserves much more respect. Dominated the stage well. Glad they are where they are but am real glad they had this era.
It's crazy to see the love for Rob in the comments. I remember when he was in Exodus a lot of people disliked him. I loved him. He reminds me of Baloff but better.

Getting rid of Dukes was the biggest mistake Exodus ever did...Sadly, the monster of a frontman is gone 😭😭 Honestly missing that sheer aggression and brutal stage presence of Dukes in Exodus cuz I'm pissed off with hearing the cat-screech all the time now

This is why I like Exodus, Testament, Overkill, Krator etc those real thrash metal bands. Their live shows are generally better than the album. Amazing energy and skills!

Rob Hell Awaits Imo, Rob is just a step behind the Mighty Paul Baloff. The stage presence is there. He fucks up lyrics, like Baloff did, but do we really care? It's all about the aggression :)

Just found this band three weeks ago, what a fucking performance. I have never been to a metal fest yet. I have been to hundreds of metal concerts, but not festivals.
