Not surprising. Given that most of the leads on this game are former Bioware employees. Including the lead writer of Mass Effect 1&2.

@salvomarchi2761 That's the cost of bad corporate management. I learned it's better to follow the individuals who were the creative minds behind the thing you like rather than the company logo. BG3 showed that other studios like Larian have taken up the mantle of Bioware by literally making a sequel to Bioware's classics.

@@sizablekoala6879 true. Bad management, and also letting executives decide instead of the people who actually create the game they sell. You know Larian did something groundbreaking when other companies say to not expect it from them as they’re incapable of doing like them.

Feels so been there done that in both Scifi games/movies. I will commend it though for being one of the few that does the different perspectives of time dilation when one accelerates to near the speed of light correctly. It will be interesting how much light speed travel there will be in the final game to make that a significant mechanic, but I suspect it will only be used as a one off.
