As best as I can tell, this was a fabulous test, well done! It would have been wonderful if there were English subtitles, but it was still great! Thank you!
Awesome tests! I've been interested in Lapua Naturalis for years but they are hard to find here in the USA. I was impressed how uniformly the Naturalis expanded. It may not have been the largest diameter in most of the tests but if you compare the actual frontal area of the expanded Naturalis, i think it would be first in most of the tests as the others have petals that fold back and have gaps in between. I don't know if one design is better than the other on game, but for all practical purposes, I think all 4 bullets would get the job done although the Norma would be my last choice as it underperformed compared to the other 3.
Even though I couldn’t understand a word it is always interesting to see the outcome of these expansion tests. Unfortunately the choice of media to capture the bullets is very poor - it does not come close to representing hunting situations. From hard-won experience I can tell you that these copper bullets are very erratic performers on medium game at lower impact velocity (>400m). A typical medium sized deer (e.g. red hind) will present radically different expansion outcomes depending where it is hit, and at what angle. A solid broad side shoulder shot with full penetration will put the animal down, but a shot behind the shoulder angling across the torso can result in very poor expansion and a lost animal. The matter is not helped by the fact that a lot of these copper bullets have poor ballistic coefficient and can be unpredictable at longer range in windy conditions.
