I love this. Lahiri Baba is always saying to Practice without expectation. I struggled with this for years, so addicted to gaining results. I still struggle with it sometimes. Thank you for addressing this point! You keep saying, do this meditation then count. Count what? Count how long the feeling stays with you? Count each Time you do the technique? What is being counted?
You count the deep feeling generated (however you feel the Hakalau) as one practice, then relax. Then reengage the right brain through Hakalau again (feel it) and count. ;) 🙏🙏🙏
Heyy Forrest!! I hope all is well. I was in hope for some guidance in the right direction. Long story short, in a constant battle of trying to find myself or the purpose of life, I dabbled with psilocybin with the sole intention of dwelling deep into my mind alone in nature. This resulted in me having my kundalini awakening or opening my third eye, where i was 1 with universal consciousness (powerful Shiva energy) and felt immense bliss. No words can really explain the moment. I had a crazy amount of energy/coincidences since i was vibrating at a different frequency for about 3 months after that awakening, but now I feel almost back to normal alongside being consciously awoke. I felt and tasted being divine and it completely obliterated my ego and showed me we are 1 and connected to every single thing including the grass, trees, etc. I seek to enter those cosmic habitual forces without any substance basically but totally lost where to start lol I also understand i need to drop all expectations and practice letting go/oneness. I am now trying to practice oneness with your HRV breathing, Om Japas, Shambavi mudra, Hakalau and I did your 7 steps. Is there anything specifically i should focus on? Appreciate your work, you're a gem for humanity 🙏

Possibly a strange couple of questions but, how much of what you share in your material (books/yt channel/mellows videos) do you believe is functional methodology for reaching the union/void state *outside* of transfered lineage material. Do you think it functions on its own or just as supplemental technology ? Thanks for such great info! It's leveled up my personal practice. The parallels I've realized from your methodology apply to completely different traditions.

Hi Forrest, have been reading the book and it is great!! The main thing I want to address in myself is anxiety/ fear. Would a daily practice of mahamudra stretching, Navi Kriya and HRV, as well as om’ing into the negative emotion, go quite a way in helping this? Many thanks!

Meditation is hyper logical, something that we all struggle with in today's world. It's hilarious because you say a riddle, but it's not. It's actually hyper logical. So logical that we often take it as a riddle as we analyze. I feel that it could also be better explained as saying focal management exercises for us westerners that have a problem with the word meditation. Which I don't, but then I generalize a lot so. As long as I'm aware I'm doing it. Lol

Hi forrestji . I have seen your hrv video but i can't breath fully . Normally i breath 30 times in 1 minutes. I can't breath from my belly( or stomach). I can only do chest breathing. Just after 4 seconds of inhaling my chest is full but the stomach is empty and i can't breath till stomach. Can you please help me ?
As you breathe in find the lowest point that your breath is entering into the lungs as you feel it place your hands at that point and then with each breath very slowly attempt to breathe below that point. In this way, very slowly increase your capacity into the rest of your lungs. Once you feel that your capacity has increased and this little exercise is working well, then get my book and look up the so called 3 Lung Exercise.
I have another question i have watch your video no mind technique of two points. Do we have imagine there are two points in both the hands or we have to focus on nose and chest breathing or nose breathing and third eye?
Have a relaxed gaze upwards towards any point then allow it to expand to the outer edges of your peripheral field. I've noticed how this expands you and empties you at the same time. If your eyes narrow you become too linear and fixed. Let go into the expanse. Relax into it without overthinking it. 🙏
I haven't read one book yet, it's about time. I do though. That should be an example for anybody reading these comments though. If they've read any of my other ones in the experiences I've had. Yeah, reading the books wasn't important. But to gain the further understanding They are becoming important. I tell you how many times I've heard somebody say oh you got to read yogananda. No, I don't lol and I've heard it so many times now that it smells like a cult and even though I know it's not, it completely turns me off......
