Expedition in the Smokey Mountains 

June 16 - 19.
31.5 miles, 6900 ft elevation gain
Day 1 - Lakeshore Trail to Forney Creek. Fished the many great spots on the creek with no luck. Overnight at campsite #71.
Day 2 - Springhouse Branch to Forney Ridge. SERIOUS ELEVATION GAIN! Rested at Andrew’s Bald. Continued on to Clingman’s Dome where we were caught in a downpour. Returned to Forney Creek and camped at #68 Steel Trap.
Day 3 - Forney Creek to 68 #74. Fished the whole way and only caught three.
