This game was so............so amazing..listen to voice acting and musical ques ....jesus... nothing like it exist today..such theatrical touches make this one of the best rpg's i ever played.

I've always loved that Sith Captain. He just seems like a pretty chilled, perfectly normal dude. And I just love his sarcasm in response to the Sith's mysticism. Also, nice of those two Sith Assassins to bow to each other when they finished their little practice duel.

Star Wars pre Disney lore is so goddamn cool. Freedon Nadd, Marko Ragnos, Darth Krayt and Tenebrous and all these other insanely powerful people over thousands of years made the franchise feel so cool

This is honestly one of my favorite parts of the game.

The sith lord is voiced by the guy who did Darth Malgus.

This is one of best quests in the game

It took me years to realize that the ritual they are doing is to control the beast at the palace and it goes mad once you break up the ritual!

And to think only 3000 years later Darth Bane would come to Dxun looking from the Holocron of Freedon Nadd where he also gets encrusted in Orbalisks.

The tomb of Freedon Nadd is a Force Nexus, a place strong with the dark side of the Force; the point of this ritual that the Sith are performing is drawing upon this Force energy to grow stronger. As Visas put it, secrets can be learned here. It is something you can do as well while in the tomb, you can draw upon dark energies and gain power. When the ritual is broken, it is the dark side backlash that kills that Sith.

Would have been a nice nod to RotJ if, at the end of the clip, the guy said, "so be it... Jedi."

Thanks. In the first game, Mandalorian armor was shiny, for whatever reason in TSL it wasn't anymore. I just changed a parameter in appearance.2da, it's a simple matter. The sound I added in later, with a sound editor.

I always have Bao-dur with me on this mission and Visas, and the third party member is either Mandalore or HK 47

Still a classic game.

I've always wondered what the ritual itself was intended to do (specifically)- we see one Sith Master sacrificed, but we don't know what it was supposed to do other than grant nebulous "power" - to Nihilus? to the Sith fighting with Vaklu? To harm the Queen's people or weaken light side powers?

And also looking back at it I did not understand the story line in both KOTR 1 and KOTR 2. Did not understand what so ever. I think I just played.

The sith wearing masks are hard to kill if you aren't a high enough level.

Dxun was my far my favourite location in KOTOR II, but it was also absolutely fucking terrifying. The entire game had this eerie, spooky atmosphere which always had me on edge. I guess that's a testament to the voice acting and soundtrack.

The sith master has the most coolest voice ever.

One of the coolest things that I LOVE about KOTOR 2 is getting to train and team up with the Mandalorians on Dxun. That's something you RARELY see in any and all of the history of the Star Wars EU.Walking through the Dxun jungles to the tomb.....is actually very unsettling. Just watching this sends chills down my spine. The Sith utilize fear as a weapon to fight the Jedi, well anyone actually. You can really feel it in the tomb on the walls, running down the halls, you can see dark side energy a couple of times while exploring. NOTE: You can "fight" those energies, but be warned.....if you don't have high enough skill in Willpower, it can cause you to....."embrace" the dark side.The Sith are also VERY sick in the head with their rituals. They like to sacrifice and torment people to the brink of death and use those dark side energies to make slaves and allies they'll later kill or maim. Truly insidious monsters that have forever been the infernal enemies of the Jedi.And if you have not played KOTOR 2, you'll want to know this: The choices you make influence you AND your followers. If you choose the path of the dark side, your appearance will decay. Your eyes will turn a horrifying red and yellow and your skin will turn grey whereas if you choose the path of the light side, your aura will GLOW as bright as the sun itself and others will follow you and glow the same.Just something to think about. Choose your path wisely and May The Force Be With You.....ALWAYS!!!!!

I'll be honest, that sith master made a pretty good dark side sales pitch, and i tend to be light side. nice video.

Whenever I go to the sith temple I always make sure that HK-47 is in my party. When you equip him with a carbonite emiiter he will ruin a dark jedi's day very fast.

I loved this mission!!!! It was great of the game makers to put this one in! U spend the entire game playing as your character, The Exile. Which I get, that is who the game is about. However, it was really awesome to do such a mission! Picking 3 of your allies to do this. Letting u fully control and use other allies u might rarely or never use! It was excellent!

I can also remember both attackign and defendign Onderon. A guard would say a different thing before the attack as attacker or defender. Also I always thought the Sith Guards, the ones in silver looked the best. Was amazing when you got to dress like one in Taris in the first KOTOR.

I rememebr this game, I rememebr this mission. Also when it came to 6:50 my combat was not as fast and easy as that. But yet I was only aroudn 10 when I played both KOTR 1 and KOTR 2, completed both ofc. The game was amazing in the fact that you could persuade an ally to become a Jedi and that you could join the darkside and betray your friends. But bloody heck both games were long.....

I just noticed that the ritual in the main chamber had 4 Sith lords, but when they broke it and the head guy started talking the one in the back was dead on the ground. Did they sacrifice that one dude or was he unintentionally killed by the ritual itself?
