On korriban, Revan encounters the spirit of Ajunta Pall, tight to his tomb by the dark side. Ajunta Pall, the first dark lord of the sith, leader of the dark jedi who rebelled and were ultimately exiled.
The founder of the Sith order himself is filled with sadness and regret. The first dark lord himself admits that they were wrong. All that the sith have done and will do, is a direct result of his actions. But even he can be redeemed. Even he can again embrace the light, and be freed from the prison his choices had created for himself.

What's scary about the Dark Side is that Pall wasn't some Padawan who fell and never made it off the ground. He was a JEDI MASTER. And he still fell. The temptation of the Dark Side is truly terrifying.

Well there are already many Jedi with the rank of master who fell to the Dark Side aside of Ajunta Pall such as. - Darth Desolous - Darth Ruin (Phanius) - Sora Bulq - Inquisitor Jerec And many other Jedi Masters who fell to the Dark Side

If KOtoR nailed one thing, it was how truly vulnerable the Dark Side of the Force makes an individual. Despite the unlimited power, there's very little gain in the end.

It's ironic how the first Dark Lord of the Sith regretted creating a mellenia long legacy of power struggles and betrayal that brought nothing but death and destruction to the galaxy.

@@PapitoQinn That's exactly what led the Sith to their destruction. The Sith narrative has always been one of revenge against the Republic and the Jedi Order that defeated and humiliated them throughout the course galactic history. Though the may gain some victories throughout the millennia, the Sith are ultimately wiped out by the remaining forces loyal to the Republic and Jedi Order.

We hid… hid from those we had betrayed. We fell.. and I knew it would be so. Hits hard, the option to encourage him to rejoin the Light is such a simple but impactful act. Kotor 1&2 are master piece games.

3:25 is one of those moments where lore sends you a red flag the game never addressed. According to several sources, including the D20 rulebook,.a certain degree of Force Sensitivity is needed just to see a Force ghost. Takes a bit more than that to understand what a ghost is saying. Add this his kid swinging a saber and his home planet being settled by people the Jedi threw away as washouts and failures, and Flyboy there might be sitting on a powder keg even he doesn't realize.

Funny thing is though, while Carth is not Force sensitive enough to be a Jedi, his son is. You can find his son here in the academy if you follow Carth's quest line.

@@YuriXEstelle As I said, his kid is swinging a saber. But that's surprisingly minor, as Dustil could have a random mutation or it could run on Morgana's side of the family. But there's enough weirdness in Carth to make you wonder if he's got the same issue that much of the Exile's party had

This is where Revan gets the idea that Bane turns into the rule of two. This is the most important piece of lore in canon when you look at the rule of two being such a big deal.

It would be super creepy if this game was real and a sith lord's spirit manifested itself like this. But we know that spirits that leave earth never come back from eternity.

@@ulfberht4431 Originally Ajunta Pall was supposed in Shadows Of The Sith. Luke and Ben supposed visit his tomb on Korriban. Luke tells Ben that Ajunta Pall created Sith Order and First Sith Empire after A Hundred Year Darkness and he lived centuries as its ruler. While this part is cancelled, the parts about he lived centuries as Leader Of The Sith is Canon. They simply didn't name him yet. But yeah, Ajunta Pall still created Sith in Canon. In Canon, Luke actually visited Korriban several times so this can be interesting.

This game is so fantastic, is a shame that kids today do not knows how magic and interesting this game was. I’m dutch and in my country when i ask kids from my age or younger if they know or play kotor! Nobody knows anything about, it pissed me off. Kids today are blinded by shitty companies like EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Activision and social media pushing these bullshit games like Call of Duty, FIFA, Fortnite because kids mind are dumper than adults! Blinded to these Mordern games and never know how powerful and rellevant Kotor was and still is today. It just sad!

Agreed, kids these days have no appreciation for how great games used to be in the past. KOTOR and it's sequel are my favorite games ever, such rich expansive and amazing stories, dialogue and characters. But EA and other companies have turned kids away from great stuff like that, and only crank out bland, unimaginative crap to lure kids in and get their money, while not making anything compelling about each new game

Aamir Razak social media (like Instagram, Twitch & RU-vid) also play a part in the decline of games. Because kids today looking at social media and see companies like Ubisoft pushing crap games and they think that these games are cool. But they do not see beyond social media!

SEMI SPOILER: ************** I noticed that when I brought both Jolee and Juhani to the tomb, I was able to persuade him. Interestingly, the presence of Jedi may help as the outcome was different when I didn't have my Jedi companions, even if I had fairly adequate persuasion points.
