I like how his sword (katana) is blessed. Like any weapon, it must be used for good. Never use it for evil, hate or in anger.

I have been practicing with wooden swords since I was a child. I enjoy making swords and fighting with them. Your videos really helped me learn discipline and perfect my skill with the katana. If I visit Japan one day, I would like to practice at your dojo. Can you make online lessons on other suburi aside from the basic overhead cut? Thank you Kaz, you are an inspiration.

Thank you so much for sharing this. My Sensei said that when you clap you are capturing the Ki from whoever you take the Rei. Is this similar in this ritual? Are you absorbing Ki from the Kami? 🙏🙏🙏
@SAMURAIKAZARTS
@SAMURAIKAZARTS 2 года назад
Thank you for watching! Actually i'm Buddist but sometimes i'm doing like that things. As far as i know There are the meaning every movements to connect something great(kami &ki) Shinto & Buddism are saying Kami, something great & ki is into myself. And every things have a great something into themselves. So, we are doing like this behavior to cnnnect it & realize it.

Enjoy it very much. Thanks. Is there a similar ritual for visiting a person in the cemetery? To honor the dead, so to speak. If so, please point me in the right direction. I'm writing a scene of one who follows the Samurai way, and visits the grave of his non-Samurai brother. Any help would be appreciated.
