Thanks for watching and there is a walk to get to different parts of this park but if you want to see a park with A LOT OF SPACE, check out our MarineLand Explore video.
I grew up at CP. (I'm 51) It is nothing like it was in the 70's and 80's. There was a skating rink at the main entrance. It burned. Bumper Cars near the Whip.. burned. There was a stage area where Swan Lake is. They hosted such names as Garth Brooks, Billy Ray Cyrus, Conway Twitty. The Grille was a nice dine-in cafeteria. Where the sno-cone stand is, was an open building with skee-ball. We went once this year. It's just sad now
Thanks for watching and thr comments. You can tell the park had better days. Hoping the community supports it like in the past because it would take a lot of investment and love to get it back to the glory days. We have a few more videos of CP coming in the fall so consider subscribing so you don't miss a thing
Hopefully ill have a chance to ride this coaster before it is demolished. I was so excited to ride blue streak at conneaut lake and they burned it down. So sad.
It truly sucks what happened to Blue Streak. Glad we got the coaster credit also. I got lucky that Big Dipper was running so I would not delay visiting in 2024
Very quaint ... almost like if the game "Myst" had an amusement park world. Nothing really notable (except, maybe, the Whip), but I assume good value for your dollar.
For a local park it had a few standouts. I rode the Haunted House and was impressed with the ride and the condition. The log flume is a cool experience since it is right along the ground. Finally the Big Dipper was decent with the ejector air on the first drop the highlight. All in all, a great stop off to check out. Thanks for watching and more Camden Park content coming
@125RollerCoaster I'm worried for that old wooden coaster. Maybe if we croud funded money now we could use it to make the repairs the park needs. Because if it keeps going this way it'll end up like conneaut lake
Great looking park. Question: I would like to photograph the Scrambler with the Indian Mound behind it. Does anyone know what the policy is on photography at Camden Park? Ideally, would like to do it around sundown, using a tripod with long exposures to blur the action. I can't seem to get a response from the Park and don't want to drive all the way there for nothing. Thanks in advance.
I would think the photography method you are using would work best (I am a professional photographer by trade) but in regards to getting permission. we have never talked to anyone at the park before but I would try an email from their website or call the sales office where you would buy tickets in advance from and see if they can connect you to the correct people. Thanks for watching and make sure you subscribe because we are launching a lot of new stuff this fall
