What A Gem! I was 12 years old in 1980. I can still remember watching the ball drop (New Year's Eve) on TV as 1979 faded into the past. Five years later I made my first solo. All these years later my passion for aviation has never faded.

I was about 13 at Redding Sky Ranch in about 1970 when I was invited into a brand new 340 with the AC on. I was blown away. It was over 100 that day it was cool inside in more ways than one.

Super cool footage Matt, this looks like it was an avgeek's dream day! Great sights and sounds from this awesome Cessna 340, that must have been some fun flying. And flying to visit a flight museum is icing on top of the cake! That's neat parking next to the ERJ, and I even saw a Canadian-registered Twin Otter as you were taxiing out of Altenrhein.

Five guys in a Ram VI 340 with air conditioning and a Robertson STOL kit, it must have been at max gross weight. That STOL kit sure gets you stopped a lot faster than my 340.
