What sunglasses are those and where’d you get them? I’m digging them!

I was wondering if you sprayed across the containers with each mixture with the plugs already in the sand if it would give a close representation of applying them to an existing lawn? Hard to say if they would be able to absorb enough product that way to see a difference, but should eliminate the potential for overdosing the plugs with the mixture. Thanks for all your efforts! I’m praying we get rain here in Concord, NC before I have to look at starting to water already. Looks like a decent shot of rain Saturday thru Monday if I can hold off another 3-4 days. Hate to lose grass from the fall renovation this early.

Thank you Ted. Yea, this is clearly not a scientific and spot on way to do a test, but best way I've seen to do it. As far as rain, we need it too of course! Hoping for a wet weekend.

Have you considered using a PGR on your lawn to maybe improve plant health?

Hey my friend I have a question when you do the liquid fungus and liquid pet insecticide you need to water up that
@MrFergusonLawn
@MrFergusonLawn 2 месяца назад
Nope, only water in fungicide if you are doing it as a prevention app. If you are treating fungus you see, let it sit on the blades

I’d be curious to know how many people actually water their grass with the recommended 1 inch of water per week if they’re not getting any rain. 1 inch of water equivalates to around 600 gallons per 1,000 sqft. Not only is it expensive, it takes forever to get that volume across your entire yard.

For reference to apply 1” of water to my approximately 7500 sq ft of lawn surface would require 4,676 gallons (formula: L x W x D x 7.481). For my situation L x W is my lawn sq footage (7500), D is 0.083 (1” converted to feet) for depth of water applied, and 7.481 is the number of gallons in 1 cu ft. So (7500 x 0.083 x 7.481) = 4,675.63 gallons. No way I am paying that water bill most weeks of the summer in NC!

The problem it’s for a spray over one thousand square feet not a drenching it 😂

Well yea, lol. That's clearly what I was saying, as to why it's dying now and why we backed it WAY off with the second plant. It's trying to give the "same amount of product" to all of them. We did the 1k sq ft rate with RGS, and bc it has no N, it's no problem. Is that necessarily equal to 3 oz of starter fert? Not sure. I'm clearly no scientist lol.
